Vollrath Company 47002 Piano Whip, 10-Inch

It is sturdy and NSF rated. But I found it heavy, didn't care for the stubby handle which felt awkward, and think the wire design with heavy wires may be sturdy, but best for a cooking school where sturdyness matters more than feel or mechanics of use. Wish I had remembered to return it on time. Would not buy again.

This is the best whip I have ever had. It is so sturdy. Love it!

Classic vollrath. Tough as nails and twice as practical. There are a select few kitchen utensils which I like enough at work to spend my own money to have them at home. This is one of them. Makes peaks so stiff you'll need both hands to spread it. Beats eggs so easy it's shameful. So buy it and enjoy it for a long, long time.

If I had bought this years ago, I wouldn’t have pitched so many whips. The construction and materials make beating eggs much easier and faster.

I was introduced to Vollrath whips in a kitchen I worked at. Quite frankly, they have become the end-all-be-all of whips for me, both at home and at work. They're great, they don't break, and the handles help one avoid the "Whoops, I left my whip leaning against the pot again" burns that I'm not sure any of us like.
