This was what I had been waiting for. Built well and sturdy as I'm not using it for it's intended purpose but rather as a means to adjust the launch angle for individual model rockets on a 12 pad to compensate for wind. It seems capable of handling up to and including the larger D/E engine models with their larger launch rod. Their 1/4-20 thread allows me to change out rod sizes using a coupling and button head screws drilled to fit.

Over the years I've had several solutions for mounting an action camera on my Harley-Davidson FLHTK. Stick on mounts, mirror bolt mounts, etc. While they all worked, they tended to look a bit Rube Goldberg. By using this lightweight mount I am able to use one of the windshield mounting bolt points to attach the Lunies Mini Ball Head as the mount. So far it's working quite well and the vibration of other mountings is reduced. Works great.

The knob is so large it will collide with any flat surface these are mounted on. Maybe that's not the intended use but it was a problem for me. I was able to trim the knob with some side cutters pretty easily. The 1/4-20 to 3/8 thread adapter was not flush or below the base - the hole needed a little counterbore to make it sit flush.

This product was great, I just needed a swivel for my lighthouses and they were awesome. They were a great value for my money. I would recommend.

Extremely happy. Worked for my "ancient" tripod. I removed the adapter and even though the threading was a little different, it is still extremely stable. I have a "they don't make em like that anymore" tripod and now I can use it again. The fact that I received 2 was even better.

Works perfectly. I'm using these for my wireless video receivers and holds then just right. Would order again
