Have been using this since a month. May be it's too early to say but did not find any noticable differences.Will repost in a while

Arrived in a very nicely packed box. Initial impressions are very promising.1) Solid metal body which makes sure that it's built to last, unlike the more expensive and even smaller plastic filters out there.2) It's 1.5x bigger than the other filters so it's going to look awkward when attached to an overhead shower so keep that in mind when ordering. See image.3) It's bigger size is supposed to help in better filtration, only time will tell if this is true. I will update the review in 2 months.4) Cost: This has been on my wishlist for a while since when it was 2k, now that they dropped it to only 1k it's the best deal on Amazon right now, clicked 'Buy now' instantly.Edit: The filter lasted only 8 months for just me alone. They claim it lasts for over 6 months for a family of 4 and it still died out soon with just me using it. Also, the filter price is overpriced at 750 where other similar products charge under 500.

Absolutely loving it. We are getting water which has a range of 1100-1200 TDS. After installing we have noticed more than 50% reduction in hairfall within the first week itself. It's longevity remains to be seen, especially because of the high TDS in our area. It's very easy to install. Just wrap the tape snugly in multiple layers and tighten it. Would definitely recommend for anyone facing skin and hair issues due to water.6 weeks review- Noticed some decrease in shower pressure over last week. Simply opened and cleaned some sand that had deposited on the filter inlet with an old (but soft) toothbrush using some Listerine. Pressure became as good as new. Hope this helps!

I purchased this product on 15-06-2022 for softening water in my shower. I tested the total hardness of water before and after the installation using Aquasol total hardness test kit. The natural hardness of the tap water is 200-225 ppm (total hardness). This is considered as "hard water" which is not good for the skin and hair. After I installed the product (Watamate Activ+ Stainless Steel 1/2 Inches Bathroom Shower and Tap Hard Water Filter, Silver, Matt Finish (Activ+ (Shower Filter)), the hardness of the filtered water increased to 275-300 ppm (total hardness). This means, this product is not only useless for water softening, but also harmful as it increases the hardness by approximately 75-100 ppm (30-50%). I request the manufacturers to comment on this.

Easy to install, it will be very difficult to tell how effective it is. I have connected to geyser out end and input I fixed polyphosphate to reduce the hardness. Hence it is difficult to say the performance of this filter but I can tell you before filter after there is an improvement in the clarity of water. However I like the filter enclosure looks awesome and it gives the confidence that the filter was properly manufactured by right team. Hence not to suspect you can go for it on 100% trust on this mfr.

ProsHigh quality, easy to install, no plumber required, filters well, maintains good water flow pressure through the shower head unlike other filters in the market.ConsMinor water leakage seen from the filter after using for a few months.After testing the filtered water with a meter, it shows 794 ppm hardness which is the same as of unfiltered borewell water in Bangalore. This raises questions over the effectiveness of the filter. In contrast, my RO water purifier shows 14-20 ppm hardness in water.
