Top Cat (1961): The Complete Series

Bought this as a birthday gift for my son. Tried to purchase it a few years ago but was unsuccessful..none were available. So this will be something he will really like. Delivered promptly and well protected for shipment.

Just a heads up for anyone trying to buy the 5-disc version from 2017, it is on DVD-R (purple layer discs). Other than that this version is the same as the 4-disc from 2006 (with one double-sided DVD) and 5-disc from 2008 (region 2-locked). In my opinion the best way to get the extra discs is buying that DVD-Rs, the double-sided DVDs tend to have playback issues and the other version is region locked, so I'd go ahead and order the 5-disc from 2017, still steep for burned DVDs but worth it.

This series is a CLASSIC!Furthermore, the newly developed MOD release has EVERYTHING that the original commercial release did right down to the great load screens (my secondhand copy of the original release was scratched and several episodes skipped).I was suspicious that this release would no longer have the animated disc menu and was thankfully proven wrong! This release also appropriately uses FIVE discs instead of three single sided discs and one double-sided.This is truly a worthy collection at a great price for those who didn't collect the original release of several years ago or who's discs may be worn out.

I like this series very much how ever all the descriptions from the episodes are inexistent some one forgot to add this.

If you love the old "SGT. BILKO" imitation series known as "TOP CAT, then you should most certainly love this collection.

Good quality of a class TV show and wonderful for anyone who loves Top Cat! Great buy!

Classic animated series at an affordable price. I wonder how many people know that the series is based on Sgt. Bilko (Phil Silvers Show)? Great to relive some of the many happy memories from my youth.
