Perfect fit OEM for my riding mower. Great price too!

Liked the price. Installed easily as it should and performing as expected of an air filter for a mower.

The only complaint is the cost. $20 for an air cleaner? But it fit perfectly. Later I bought a kit with all 3 filters (air,fuel,oil) plus sparkplugs for less than this filter! However, the kit air filter did not fit the application so was worthless. Again, great filter, would be better if cheaper.

Perfect replacement

I had to update this review after I received another filter from another vendor and was having the same issues.I measured all the filters; both new ones and the original ... they measure out to the silly milly. But the new ones were not fitting, the wire latch was not latching, the compartment door was not closing. Then the light bulb came on, I checked the inside measurements of the filter .. ahhh. It is very snug, you can't just push it on and have it fit, you have to lean on it until it finally pops on .. literally you will hear it pop into place .. then the wire latches the compartment door closes just fine. It is a serious tight fit ... but it does fit.

Great price on genuine kohler part. What I really like is the foam prefilter, most people overlook how important it is. It’s keep your air filter cleaner for much longer, and is safer for your engine in really dusty conditions.Don’t panic if the filter doesn’t slip into place easily, it takes a firm hand to press it into place. When it’s in, you know it’s sealed properly or else the metal hold down piece won’t clip into place. Don’t force anything, it will all fit together as it should. The part number is gonna have one number off, a zero in place of an eight iirc. As long as your model is in the fitment list, don’t worry about the part number.Aftermarket air filters are more money and lack the foam prefilter in my area, as most parts people just think the filter alone is good enough. It’s not. We rack up 100+ hours on our kohler/craftsmen mower each summer, and try to use only kohler parts. Amazon will be getting more business from me when it comes to kohler parts.

Perfect fit and fast delivery!! I like the foam pre filter that keeps the larger debris out first.

Doesn't get any better in terms of quality replacement.
