I have bought these in past and the magnets seem to be weaker now. I suppose if just have a few keys it will be just fine but if you put any significant amount it is knocked off the metal very easily. However for the money still okay purchase. Only the silver ones though the black ones are for sure weaker.

I purchased these to test doors in house to see if they were metal or wood and use them to test jewelry for precious metals. They worked very well for what I needed them for. I felt they were strong for their size. Like any magnet, be careful where you place it because it can erase information.

Great magnet for everyday use. I work at a scrap yard and this magnet is strong enough to detect iron in even some non-ferrous metals. Magnet is small and compact and fits perfectly on my zip holder.
