Just awesome book for any kid!!
For my 8 to old great granddaughter Mariah. She keeps rereading it. It does not bore her.

Okay, but not as good as her other books
I like Elizabeth Verdick’s books - (Calm Down Time and Meal Time are great). This one is a lot more wordy so doesn’t have that nice sing-song feeling the others have. There’s one bit that talks about being scared of the dark - nighttime isn’t currently a problem for her, but the drawing of the girl looking scared makes me worry it’ll make her think it’s a problem, lol!

Great message but not for toddlers
I have other books in this series and they seemed to have really helped my toddler (especially Hands are not for Hitting and Feet are not for Kicking). However, this book seems a bit mature for my toddler, I’m not sure how much she understood or took away from it. I’ll be putting it away for a year or so. I think this book would be best suited for a 4+ year old.

Good tool for teaching young children they are bigger than their worries
I really like the books in this series. They are easy to read and memorize with very simple illustrations. This is one of my favorites because my daughter who is 3 is a bit of a worrier. In particular she is very scared of getting hurt, anytime she does I will usually read this book to her to remind her that she is bigger than her worries. I highly recommend!

Great colors and illustration with a great message
I bought this book for my four-year-old daughter. She tends to have some anxiety about things lately and she absolutely loved this book! It is very inclusive of different situations that might cause a child anxiety in general. The illustrations are wonderful with lots of colors, which really appeals to little ones who are unable to read yet.
