VitalsoxCompression Socks

I purchased these socks for my brother after I purchased a pair for myself. I actually introduced him to compression socks. While he knew of them, he never invested any time or thought in getting any for himself. We both have different health conditions that warrant our wearing compression socks, which was my initial reason for researching and purchasing these socks for myself, and then him after a stay in the hospital for blood clots. We both feel they are great! They work well in form, fit and function, and most especially they keep down the swelling. The only drawback is my brother is always trying to hit me up to buy him more socks by saying I buy him the best socks, because he knows I do my research, and I only purchase the best. I'm not fooled by this ploy anymore, so, now he will only get them for special occasions... I'll point him in the direction and he can buy his own!

Just a bit easier to put on and take off than the competitors compression sock. I ordered one in black and I'll probably order another in white. I have a size 13 foot, and even though the foot portion is much smaller, it stretches enough to cover the foot and extends up to my knee, so it doesn't cut circulation off in the calf.

These socks are TOO tight at the top three to four inches. The socks cause tremendous discomfort near the top, The socks are very well made, but I strongly recommend that no one purchase these socks until the construction problems are corrected.

I was a little disappointed because the original picture with the socks shown was for two pair of socks. Only one came in the package and the documentation showed that it was just one pair. Oh well. They are beautifully made and comfortable. They help keep my legs from feeling tired.

I feel these socks looser than "Vitalsox Italy Shark VT1211Pro Black X-Large Patented Graduated Compression Socks with Equilibrium Technology". The leg of the socks is rather long for me, I have to fold the top almost 1/3rd of the whole length. Compared to shark, they are less tight. No odor so far.

I bought these primarily for long flights overseas but I also wore them around once there. They are a bit tighter than I would have liked but once on they were very comfortable. No hesitation in recommending these, particularly since they are made in Italy and not China.

Too loose to offer good compression in the foot and ankle and too tight in the calf. Another bum purchase from the jungle know as Amazon. I was hopeful. Online shopping is convenient but its back to the pharmacy for me.
