The Amalth Saw Palmetto Capsules arrive in a recyclable (PET-1) plastic bottle.Printed on the label are the ingredients, nutritional information, and suggested use. There was a statement that the preparation was manufactured by Good Manufacturing Practice in the Amazon advert but this was not confirmed by printing on the bottle label - so not sure.The advert and the bottle have an inconsistency. Under the nutritional information and the ingredients 11 products are listed but in the nutritional information, Saw Palmetto extract is listed and under ingredients, Safed Musli extract is listed but neither are listed in both. So it is uncertain which is present in this preparation.All the 11 ingredients have been explored in human studies and are generally safe. There are mixed results on efficacy but generally the studies have been performed at much higher doses than are available in this preparation - for example, Tribulus Terrestris in this preparation = 50mg and the trials studied 500mg - 1500mg; Shilajit resin in this preparation - 30mg and in the trials 200-250mg; the Saw Palmetto is at a dose that is consistent with some clinical studies.Overall, this preparation has a lot of good ingredients - some related to the urinary tract, some related to sexual health, and some may benefit the prostate - but apart from the Saw Palmetto, most of the ingredients are at a very low dose - which will do no harm but are unlikely to have much efficacy based on trial information. All you can do is try and see if it is of any benefit to you. A three-month supply for £15.00 does not seem excessive. However, the errors on the product label should be corrected to provide confidence in this product.

I got these to try and help with my constant nightly trips to the toilet and so far I have seen a slight reduction after only a week of taking them, I am hopeful for further improvement.They are loaded with other vitamins, all be it small doses, they seem to be a good mix.This bottle is a 3 month supply, so they have 3 months to prove their worth then I'll decide whether to get them again, very reasonably priced.

I must admit to being surprised at the list of ingredients contained in each capsule.Saw palmetto id the main ingredient, of course, but this is accompanied by an impressive list of other herbal extracts: turmeric, nettle leaf. ginger, green tea and many others. All of these, according to the various articles and books I have read, play an important role in sustaining stomach and bladder health.I have been taking one capsule a day for a week now - far too soon to come to definite conclusions about efficacy but I do think the unrinary flow has improved. In the meantime I will carry on taking them and would certainly recommend.(review from Mr. K)

I had been having problems with the urge to go to the bathroom 2 or 3 times every night, but with a bit of will power and taking these I now rarely have to get up at all. These seem to take the edge of the urge to pee, making it easier to get into a routine of not having to get up in the night. I'm not saying these are a cure, but they certainly have helped me.Not only do these contain Saw Palmetto, they include 11 different herbs all with the aim of reducing the urge to urinate. Some of those ingredients are: Ashwagandha, Tribulus, Ginger, Maca, Holy Basil, Turmeric, Green Tea extract and more.The daily dose is to take a single capsule each day, along with a glass of water. There are 90 capsules in total, so essentially there is 3 months supply here. I usually take mine early evening, a few hours before bed, that seems to work well for me. I find the capsules easy to swallow and have not noticed any nasty taste or smell. These are very similar with the mix of vitamins included to should be just as effective - just make sure you're clear about the benefits and if you need to supplement with this or not before taking it based on other people's opinions unless they're professionals offering you specific advice.If you know a prostate/reproductive health support supplement is the right supplement for you right now then then these aren't bad value at all as usually many similar supplements (especially those with saw palmetto) can be a little pricey but if taken at the recommended minimum of one a day then this bottle will last around three months and considering the high concentration of added biotin along with the zinc I think this makes them good value.

I have been taking Saw Palmetto for many years now and have tried all manner of concoctions/formulae and find they are all roughly the same. I admit that some really have made a noticeable difference. However, for anyone with prostate enlargement problems, these are worth a try.IN use they give what most others give, that is a good sized dose of Saw Palmetto, but this does have other ingredients as well. Do these help more than others? Whilst it is almost impossible to know, I have found that they are similar to the rest.These are easy to swallow and leave no aftertaste. I feel the price is a bit too much even though they tend to offer a more mixed set of 'ingredients'.

I like to take vitamins and supplements as they have definitely helped me with my overall health and wellbeing especially my immune system.I always to to take those that are manufactured in the UK or Europe as I feel they produced to higher quality control and standards....Therfore as these are not from the UK I won't be taking them although I am a firm believer in the benefits of saw palmetto....
