Dirt or pavement?
I picked these up based on a friend's recommendation. They're not bad tires, but not really what I was looking for. They have a smooth center section, and rather pronounced sidewall knobbies. Neither of those are bad things, but you end up with a tire that doesn't seem to have a "best use". The center section is great on pavement or smooth surfaces, but the knobs are pretty rough once the bike is leaned over. On the dirt/trail or in the mud, the knobs are a great help, but you lose traction with the bike riding down the center of the tire.For the price, they're an easy mistake to deal with on my part. Just wish the two personalities were a bit closer together.

Excellent tires for the price. Good on road and trails, just need to find that sweet spot for tire pressure.

Smooth as silk on street. The knobbies running the outside line of the tire have saved my ass more than once taking tight gravel ridded street corners where drivers hold no quarter.LOVE ME SOME KENDA!!!
