Fantastic! Arrived fast, sealed, fresh, and excellent Biltong!

Love that this comes as a slab so you can cut it as you go and into your preferred thickness. I only chose the garlic as it was a deal, so am not likely to repurchase that one. I would try a different flavor though, as it is worth trying more from this brand, which doesn't have that awful preserved aftertaste of some packaged biltong. This tasted freshly made. The flavor, texture and dryness was good.

The taste was alright, not my favorite flavor from this brand though.

I have been eating jerky since the age of three years old my family is from Texas and when I got this meat, I thought I would give it a try and honestly this meat belongs on a charcuterie board. This is not jerky at all.

I really liked the flavor! I cut it very thin, much thinner than 1/8”.

I have been purchasing STRYVE Biltong for years, but not anymore! The difference in quality between STRYVE and Made By True is without comparison! Made By True is far superior IMHO from start to finish. Just put the 2 side by side, one you need a decent grade slicer to slice, the other can be sliced with even a dull kitchen knife. The marbling of the True Biltong is superior, the tenderness superior and the flavor is fantastic! Even the flavored choices do not overwhelm the the grass fed beef undertones. Great product and now my go to!!

Will order again! Unfortunately the red pepper biltong molded over in a week. The others were good and lasted longer. Love the chili lime and garlic ones!

My wife and I really loved the original flavor of Made By True Biltong, so we thought we would give the "Garlic and Herb" a try. It did not disappoint. Like the original, it is a very moist, very flavorful piece of beef. The extra flavorings of the garlic and herb spices were subtle and not overpowering. My wife, who has very picky tastes in meat products (she grew up vegetarian and still has an aversion to some meat), could not get enough. She ate more the 3/4ths of the slab and I had to fight for the scraps. Definitely make sure you cut it into smaller pieces, as directed, and it makes a huge difference in the eating experience. My only objection was the price, but after looking for other "grass-fed" biltongs, this was the cheapest I came across. Once you actually have it in your hands, you'll realize it is a very substantial amount of beef. If you like jerkys, biltong and other dried meats, treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.
