The media could not be loaded.  I imported a few Spectrum EX's to the UK as I'm a big fan of the Yomega Spectrum and expected it to perform like a Raider EX out the box - both are advertised with the same form factor, bearing and interchangable spacers.I'm not sure what the core differences between this and the Raider are, but comparatively it feels very unresponsive out of the box. Trying to tighten it up with thinner spacers didn't seem to help much either.With a little bit of trial and error, I managed to dial in the same kind of responsiveness I'm familiar with with the Raider and the supplied string by using the supplied Silver default spacers and by double looping the string onto the bearing - otherwise, the string just doesn't seem to get enough contact with the starburst.For people in the reviews who said they were having issues, I'd recommend giving this a try and seeing if you get the response you're looking for.After doing this, it's got a nice and snappy return and I'm really happy with it. It's a fair bit weightier than a Raider and feels a little bit less controlled when I try and loop with it.It definitely feels potentially a little bit short sighted for Yomega to not give you a great out-of-box experience like this. I feel like it'd definitely be worth them giving you some notes on how to best set up the yoyo for optimal responsiveness.It's got a very different feel to the other yoyos in this style by Yomega, as it's a frosted plastic with a matte-finish, but it looks fantastic with the upgraded LED circuit. I find myself just using the multi-coloured and the purple setting most of all, and I also really like that you can set each side of the yoyo up differently to combine different LED effects. I've tried to capture this in a few pictures in a dark room, it really pops, and the colours are exceptional!Really satisfied with this yo-yo overall once it was set up, a great upgrade to the Spectrum.Recommended, just make sure you spend a bit of time setting it up properly!

I bought a second one because my nephew loved the one my son got for his birthday. Lights up, comes with instructions on how to change the batteries and an extra string.

What better stocking stuffer than a classic yo-yo? My daughter loved the purple color as well as the light-up feature and she was 14 when she got this! She's 15 now and still will mess around with her yo-yo when she's bored.

I like the lights but it does not return when using it and is extremely difficult to roll up the string to start over when yoyo-ing...Its overpriced and isn't worth it because of these reasons.

This product was a dud out of the box. So I spent the money to drive, print the receipt, and return it for an exchange. Only for the second one to be a dud.Believe the bad reviews about the quality, I wouldn't suggest it for a child out of concern the build quality of the lights is too flimsy and they'd be disappointed it doesn't work. Do NOT believe the AI generated response that it is "built like a tank." It is not. I highly suspect it got jostled in the giant box it came in and died that way.Replacing the string with a less thick, cotton-y one solves all the problems of flow. And everyone concerned about "it keeps spinning!!" should do a little research on yoyos before complaining. It's the way yoyo strings are designed. That's why the box says "tighten before use."Regardless. I lost money on this and am annoyed. I would like this resolved.

Absolutely awful product first thing it came broken, the lights don't work which was the entire reason for purchase because my kids don't light up. Honestly your better off gluing a light to a wooden yoyo. It's definitely more fun.

Good quality

The flashing lights really elevate this in terms of fun. It’s nicely built & is easy to set up.I know it’s a bit more pricy compared to toy shops, but it’s miles better than our last one (which broke). I can see it lasting longer too.

Ich habe mich trotz vieler nicht so guter Bewertungen trotzdem für das Spectrum Ex entschieden. Ich wollte ein Profi Loop Yoyo mit LED. Das habe ich bekommen.Ein Großteil der negativen Bewertungen ist ganz sicher ein Fall von falscher Bedienung. Das ist kein rauf und runter Kinder Yoyo.Ich habe die dicken Baumwollschnüre gegen dünnere aus Polyester ausgetauscht und die lila Spacer eingebaut. Der zweit dünnste Schnurspalt der so entsteht. Dann habe ich die Schnur doppelt um das Lager gewickelt.Fazit: Ich kann das Yoyo werfen, es bleibt fast 10 Sekunden unten und ich bekomme es wieder hoch.Aber perfekt ist es noch nicht, darum werde ich die Tage mal alle Kombinationen mit einem relativ dünnen Schnurspalt ausprobieren, bis es für mich passt.Das Yoyo soll unten bleiben, ein zuck mit dem Mittelfinger soll es wieder hoch holen, es soll leise sein und die Schnur so wenig wie möglich am Kunststoff im Spalt reiben.Darum erstmal ausprobieren wie das am besten so funktioniert, je nachdem welche Schnur man dafür nutzt.Auspacken und los geht's ist hier tatsächlich aber nicht der Fall.
