Q: Does anyone know the difference between spot pro and spotclean pet pro

In reading, the spot pro has a wide utensil Pet pro has the dirt trap brush

Q: Is this any good for getting an Akitas shedding hair out of carpet?

NO. You need a good Vacuum Cleaner to remove per fur, like a Dyson or Shark. This is a Carpet Spot Clean shampoo machine for washing away stains and dirty marks on carpets and upholstery.

Q: What cleaning fluid works best with this?

Bissel recommend their own products, but I find any fabric shampoo or general surface cleaner works fine. Just be carefull that it doesn't contain strong bleaching agents, as it might stain or discolour the surface. Give whatever carpet cleaner is cheap and to hand a go.

Q: Does the standard cleaning head come apart? Can't work out how to get the plastic off and there is debris stuck

No to clean it you need a bucket of fresh water turn the machine on and put the head into the water it sucks it up and cleans the head out its what my instructions said to do and it works 😊
