Julia Wertz's comics are amazing, every page balances the line between profane and profound
Julia Wertz's comics are amazing, they are a poignant coming-of-age story going from childhood, through teenagers through the awkward early 20s into the desolate 30s. I can really relate to them on different levels. They are mostly autobiographical but deal with side characters and observations. Every page is incredibly personal and balances the line between profane and profound. Her comics offer a unique view of growing up in the late 90s and the 2000s. She is one of the more interesting voices of our generation. Her comics told from a female perspective but our wholly accessible to male readers. They are honest, profound, meaningful and brilliant above all they are actually honestly funny. They are a handmade creative personal epic and you get the feeling that her blood and feelings were used to ink the pages (ok that just got a little creepy). This volume collects all most all of her earlier works including her Fart Party comics. And is a phenomenal bargain at twice the price. And a better world teenage schlubs would be reading this instead of some disposable teen manga. Stop what you're doing and buy this comic, what are you doing? I told you to buy this comic now. Go do it and then come back. Actually this is the end of my review so have a good time reading Museum of Mistake: The Fart Party Collection.

Well Illustrated, Well Told But Too Crass At Times.
This a great book for big fans of Wertz's work.I love Wertz's style of drawing it is absolutely addicting. Her method of telling storytelling is enjoying and, at times, quite humorous. There is one star missing from this review and for one reason only. Sometimes I feel like Wertz's humor goes beyond childishly crude. Like I seriously don't need to know that she has mentally thought of poo-ing on things.

I loved it
I loved it. Her work really resonates with me, and I see myself reflected in the thoughts and actions of Julia and friends. I understand her actions too well as a creator and as a struggling younger artist. I feel like this book was made for me.

Probably as good as I expected; print is too small.
Probably as good as I expected; print is too small to read. I'm 65, but that really shouldn't disqualify me from reading a book my one of my favorite comic artists.

I am loving this book! Julia Wertz's writing really draws me in - I find this book so absorbing, charming, and sweet with a side of douchey (in a really good way). The stories are so relatable - I see myself in almost every page. Great read, go on an' get it!

Printing and type way too small.
I'm a fan of Julia Wertz. This publication was practically unreadable but not because of the content; the print and type was far too small, making for an unenjoyable reading experience.

Julia Wertz is a genius!
Includes both Fart Party volume 1 and 2 (which are out of print) but tons of previously unpublished material as well.
