I sent it back because it was too white for the look I wanted, but I believe it didn't have any instructions (unless there were washing instructions I missed). As long as you have a hook or something to hang it on, it'll be obvious how to nestle a bowl or planter in between the 4 main strands. Good luck!

Hmm, it can bear the weight, the hanger were knitted by hands, tough enough. I feel that, you should care more about the pot's height and diameter, I searched the internet, it says 1 gallon pot, height 17cm, diameter 16cm/6.3", our hanger can do the work.
