A good read
Another good book by Eliza. The way she brings out the mundane things in life and turns it into a memorable event with the characters is simply spell-binding. So a must read if you are a fan of Eliza's writing.

We don't need another hero...
Another well written, reasonably priced tale from Eliza Lentzski as Cassidy’s and Julia’s story picks up from where it left off in book one.Cassidy may be the one with the PTSD and bad dreams but Julia is in many ways the more complex character. Given her toxic relationship with her father, sense of responsibility to her mother and what happened to her brother, it’s not really surprising. We also get to see into Cassidy’s “I’m not good enough for her” psyche by this being written in the first person from Cassidy’s perspective.Although the evolution of Cassidy and Julia's relationship is by no means traditional, it’s still sweet and I liked where this book ‘went' in terms of them acknowledging their feelings. Other reviewers are clamouring for another sequel and there’s certainly room for that but if there is, I hope Ms Lentzski doesn’t hurl Cassidy and Julia into a ‘well of despair’ as, personally, I like where they are right now…

A Real Wonderful Read
I was over the moon when I heard that there was a sequel to DCMH. Before I read Damaged Goods I read DCMH so I could be refreshed with the plot and story line. I need not have worried there were pointers throughout the book so you could read this book as a stand alone but I would read the first volume.I really love Casidy and Julia. They look different but inside they are very much alike. I love the way that Eliza has brought the reader through the wonderful story showing how each character is trying to be independent but they need each other. I really hope that this is a start of another series like "Winter Jacket".This is not just a story you have some very emotional matters that are covered so well by this author. Hopefully there will be more

Awesome
Ok this is the sequel to don't call me hero but you could read either as stand-alone novels. However I do recommend you read both. They say opposites attract well that's true here with Cassidy and Julia. But maybe they aren't as different as you expect. It's a great story and although it could be the end I feel there is more to be said about them. Especially as some points are incomplete like Julia's mother Cassidy's new job. Also would've to see them develop more. You know that scary word commitment. Just saying. Read you'll love it.

Good Read - Good Characters, Dont miss out read this book.
A good read, I decided a 4 only due to something minor! I would of given 4.5 if I could of! Lentzski is a new discovery for me, I think I will be reading more. I really like the blend and tension between the characters a third book in the series would be wonderful as the main characters have grown so much in the first two, I'd like to see what happens next!!!

Really good!
Another great addition to the Lentzski library. Fast becoming, if not already, my favourite author. Eliza's writing does not disappoint. And, although you could read this as a standalone, why miss out on where it all began in DCMH. I envy those of you who have yet to discover Cassidy and Julia if (when! please?) a third instalment arrives because you won't have to wait with bated breath to find out what happens next!
