This was a big help in bypassing the radio E-brake control...nicely put together package, the instructions are easy to follow and the included tool was a big help.

This worked PERFECTLY with my Pioneer X940BT Nav Unit! Sure you can just remove the mute wire instead. But for the piece of mind of not damaging the OEM harness, which is usually pricy, it was well worth it. The instructions were very clear and it included a picture of which slot to place the wire in the harness. Once installed you can't tell anything was modified. I bought this item along with a replacement interface cable for my AVIC-X930BT. I'm satisfied with my purchase of this item after going around town looking for this very exact wire. The tool provided also came handy considering the replacement interface cable being different (same as original but did not have the wire lock as instructed in the installation instructions).

I bought this after having my old head unit stolen while my car was in the shop for repairs. Bought a new AVIC-X950BH to replace my old x930bt. If you're looking for an easy to use bypass without dismantling and probably damaging your old wiring harness this is a good buy. Works well, and now I can play video while on the go.

I'm in the process of installing this along with the full install of the AVIC-Z150. Today, Saturday, I dropped an email to MicroBypass to check my wiring and of course, I'd screwed it up. (It's an age/ADD thing, I guess.) It's just a wire with the right OEM pin connector that you install in the factory harness connector and then to ground. You could save your money and just remove the Mute wire (which most people don't use anyway) and install it in the right spot on the factory harness connector and you'd be good to go.

It works great and everything you need with nice picture instructions. But it's quite expensive for a single wire with pin, you could just move the mute wire for free

Though this did not get installed do to the installer telling me it was illegal for him to do the item was as described. The return was no hassle and the customer service was excellent I would buy this item from them again if I ever move.
