Works great in most positions
Works great, just need to put it at the top or bottom of the vent, since there is no support other than the frame for up and down.

After a year, it’s lost its holding power
After a year in use, the grey pad glued to the pincher keeps coming off and the pincher arm itself has developed a bend to it which reduces its holding capability. It now falls off when pulling off phone and hitting bumps in the road will cause the holder to fall off, which defeats the purpose.
