Diffierent Take on Panforte
I think this is about the best possible combination of panforte and chocolate, but it is not as good as panforte without chocolate.Others might find that a bizarre comment, but I think panforte is the best of holiday fruit cakes and chocolate clashes with it. But I certainly had no difficulty scarfing down every crumb. A very good product.

This panforte was absolutely delicious and a big hit with port after Christmas dinner! A bit spicy (from the pepper), but that was to be expected. Very moist, flavorful and aromatic with the extra bonus of chocolate. Also healthier than your typical holiday sweets. I will be buying this again next year.
