LGB G Scale Rerailer

Rerailers in smaller scales are cheap and are often included in starter sets or track layouts. G scale is considered to be large enough to easily rail your cars. I have ground level outdoor layouts and sometimes I use this to avoid getting dirty. It works very well

We have an outdoor set up and constantly kneeling on pavement to get the cars and engine on the tracks right was painful. It’s just a plastic wedge with slots, but genius in its simplicity - both I and my knees are grateful this thing exists 🥹

I have only begun to use LGB's G Scale Rerailer but the little I have reveals that it does the job. I have "tracked" a number of mainline American freight cars and the rerailer has worked simply and effectively. As for large (Dash 9, Big Boy) locos, that remains to be seen..

The LGB G Scale Rerailer was a great addition to our Christmas Train set up. Unfortunately we derail our train OFTEN! This took all the pain out of getting the train back on the rails. Quick and easy. I would recommend without hesitation. Actually, I think it should be mandatory:)

Railing my G Scale train that runs around the Christmas Tree was a pain so I ordered this. It works, but it is something you put on top of the track, rail the engine/car, and then remove. I should have gotten the one from Bachman that becomes a permanent part of the track (you have to remove some ties) but the train would go over it on each orbit and then any wheel that has jumped off would be corrected. Not a big deal but if I had a permanent layout, I would go with the Bachman.

It helps easily get the cars on the tracks.

I purchased 2 rerailers, one for a gift . It works quite good, even on curved rail section which is why I bought. Nobody markets a rerailer for G scale curved track.
