Once repaired it is an excellent tool .
The handle came off with little to no force the first time I used it . I roughed up the mating surfaces and reattached the handle using two pack epoxy glue . Possibly just unlucky with this one as the construction quality of the actual clamp is very good .

Very well made
This is a very well made tool. Very well finished with no ragged edges etc. Very useful for holding flute and clarinet keys when working with heat during re-padding work.
