I have two naughty dogs who always dig into my bathroom, trash cans. I purchased this trash can because the one of the selling points was a Cavalier, not being able to access the trash can. I have two Cavaliers, and they ARE able to get into the trashcan. They can’t open the top lid; however, they can knock it over and knock the lid off. I would recommend this trashcan if you are looking for a trash can with clean lines and is discreet for your bathroom or toilet room. I wouldn’t guarantee it to be secure with pets.

I purchased this garbage can because I have a very small bathroom. I have limited space as to where it can go and the two areas are extremely small. Then I came upon this garbage can, it fit perfectly. I love how slim it is yet great capacity. I also love the way the lid opens up however the clasp inside has already broke but luckily it comes with an extra. I didn't take away any stars because it has already broke only because I have a son who man handles everything so I blame him lol It also came with liners which was a nice little bonus.

I like the size, the color, the shape. Looks really nice. The problem is that in order to keep the top lid closed, it have to click on a small plastic little clip. The first one that I bought, came with two clips. One is already nor working reason why I had to replaced. Did not last enough. I bought a second garbage trash for my other bathroom, but this one does not bring the extra clip. I asked the vendor if he can send me the missing clip and/or to buy clips and I was told they do not have them. One that clip broke and you do not have any to replace it, the the cute trash will remain open all the time. Waist of money. I regret to get this and spend my money.

This is a beautiful addition to our bathroom, but I should've never purchased a product with a warning from the manufacturer to be gentle with the latch mechanism. It lasted just beyond the 30-day return window and then wouldn't latch. We are a household of 2 adults; we do not have children and do not abuse our furniture, appliances, or accessories.The "buckle" part of the locking mechanism is indeed fragile to the extent of being too fragile for normal daily operation. At first, following the manufacturer's instruction in the product description worked; I was able to lift the buckle a little and close the lid successfully. This needed to be repeated dozens of times until finally, even lifting the buckle doesn't resolve the issue.In conclusion, this is a stylish and lovely looking bathroom accessory that modernized the space and has a wide opening to ensure that bathroom unmentionables like femine products, tissues, wet wipes, etc. do not spill when depositing into the can. The lid even hides the trash bag very effectively. However, even after following the manufacturer's warning about its own locking mechanism and being very gentle, it broke anyway. This does not mean, as the description tries to suggest, that it's my fault that it broke. On the contrary, I should have seen the warning as a red flag that the failure of the locking buckle was an unavoidable or at least widespread issue that the manufacturer has chosen not to correct, instead pinning the blame on the consumer. Without a dependable closing mechanism, it's just not suitable for sanitary purposes. I am moving the can to my office and keeping a paperweight on it to keep the lid closed. At least if it pops open in the office, it won't release bathroom trash odors. It just seems silly to throw it out after only being in use for 3 months.If the warning from the manufacturer gets updated to indicate an improved locking mechanism, I would certainly purchase again or at least update this review to 5-stars and recommend to others, as all other boxes are checked for this being a good product. Unfortunately, for bathroom purposes, the absence of a dependable locking mechanism makes the unit unsuitable for its suggested space.

It was easy to put together and it comes with an extra piece just in case the clasp on the trash breaks it works great!

Me gustó, tiene buen diseño y tamaño, lo único es que si se presiona con mucha fuerza la tapa el seguro puede salirse y perderse y sólo trae un repuesto adicional. Hay que tener cuidado al presionar, de resto está muy bien.
