These pillow protectors are excellent and have a zip closure.

Nicely made, excellent fit and zippered for removal and cleaning. Haven't proven the waterproofness but sure this is true as air does not permeate through the material either. Therefore the foam pillow can not breathe with weight. I have to overcome this by not using zipper, which causes the pillow to want to come out of protective case by morning. I can deal with this as long as I am assured moisture does not cause ruin to my expensive foam pillows.

Quality of pillow cases is good. Esp for one that has allergies constantly. Spill proof as well..

My old terrier has started peeing in her bed. It was a real hassle to wash the bulky bed, so I ordered these waterproof pillowcases. They work great! They fit the small dog bed perfectly and keep the bed dry. The pillowcases are soft - not rubbery - and they wash nicely. Even if your pet doesn't pee the bed, these pillowcases would work great just to keep the pet bed clean. I highly recommend!

I know the idea is that these are waterproof... but they hardly let air in/out so the pillow doesn't conform like it should. Makes the pillow feel harder/stiffer than it is. Stopped using it for this reason.
