Really happy with this mouse pad. It’s made from quality material, and is very sturdy. There is some assembly required, but easy to do with the instructions they provide. Easy to install once you get it assembled.It’s a good size and feels secure with your hand resting on it. The clamp has a rubber coating so it doesn’t scratch the surface of the desk. Mouse pad swivels to go completely under the desk if you want it out of the way. Definitely would recommend

The table on which I have my laptop is a bit high and I was developing pain in my forearm from using my mouse. This shelf, which is situated beneath the table, is at a perfect height for me. It is also quite sturdy and was very easy to assemble.There are a couple of issues that make it less than perfect. First, getting the clamp tightened takes a fairly long time and, when I needed to re-position it, it took even longer to loosen it enough to slide the clamp further into the table. Second, I work from a chair with arms and so am unable to get the shelf fully extended. Nevertheless, I have figured out how to make it work and it really does work very well--the pain in my forearm has subsided almost completely.I would definitely buy this product again.UPDATE: I purchased this in the spring when I was visiting family and needed a mouse platform at a level that was comfortable--which was not the table height. I took it with me when I went home and, after using it for a few months, when I went back to visit family again, I purchased a second one to leave there so I can use my mouse in comfort there as well as at home. Again, getting the clamp adjusted was quite a production and this time using a vice grip made the adjustment much easier!

Ultimately this mount works very well for me, allowing me to position my mouse anywhere I want on my desk. It's quite solid and sturdy.Assembly, however, was a bit frustrating. I had to use a slipjoint wrench to turn the knob on the screw as it is extremely tight, and painful to do by hand. But that should be a one time process.

Very sturdy

I need to mount a monitor and mouse platform to my midi piano stand. I cut a piece of 3/4" plywood, smoothed the edges, and painted it black, then mounted this platform to the board. Worked great, sufficiently adjustable, very sturdy.

This really helps my issue with "mouse shoulder" and the pain in my upper arm is gone. Easy to put together. I would highly recommend.

So admittedly, I have taken a while to put together this mouse pad holder. I was totally overwhelmed by all of the parts and instructions, but it was easy once I sat down and made time for it. However, there is a single part (S – A) with two screws in the pouch, and they sent me two different screws - one which works, and one which does not. Since their policy is you have only 30 days to report an issue with their product, I guess I’m out of luck. Frankly, had I gotten around to installing this within 30 days I would have probably just returned it to Amazon for the hassle of calling them. When I called, it was suggested I go to the local hardware store to purchase the correct screw, and they did tell me the correct type of screw. Given the terrible customer support that I have experienced, I cannot in good conscience recommend this product. If you do get it, make sure you put it together before their 30 days is up so you can address any manufacturing issues from thisCompany. I believe strongly in holding companies accountable and ensuring they stand behind their products, and VIVO did not do that in this case.

Not sure why others had a hard time putting together. Fairly simple instructions to put together. If you tighted the clamp as far as it goes but still not tight enough to hold on desk then just loosen white stopper at the bottom (pointing to it in picture) and it will allow room for the clamp to close more for thinner desks. Works great so far. Allows me to spread out and work in the middle of the desk instead of being cramped on one side.
