ButterOnce Corn Butter Knife (Two-packs)

I was excited to try out the Butter Once Corn Butter Knife. I was sorely disappointed in it. I used the knife to cut off a chunk of butter to put on my corn on the cob and the first 2 swipes across the corn the knife did well. After that, the butter kept slipping off the knife no matter what I did. I ended up putting the Corn Butter Knife on my plate with curved side towards me and pushed the knife with butter up to the corn on the cob laying on the plate and rotated the corn. It still didn't work properly. Now, I'm not blaming the place that sold this to me. It's not their fault that it didn't work properly and it's not my fault either. The design of it is good in theory but in actual application--nope it's a turkey. With having said that, I would buy from this seller again as the item arrived promptly and in good shape. I'll give them another chance if I find something I want from their site. I'm sorry to give it such a low rating, but I cannot give a good rating for an item that doesn't work.

I have spent a fortune on gadgets to butter corn.....I end up throwing them all away....except this one !It really works ! So easy ! The pat of butter stays within the curve of this, does not fall off or get smudgy. Of course, I had to switch from tub butter to stick butter, but that's ok. And then I had to buy a butter dish to hold the stick in, but that's ok too ! Buy it, butter it, and enjoy !

My family loves corn on the cob. We had a different corn butterer I got for free but it was a mess to clean. This one works really well and doesn't require you to load a stick of butter into it. Yes, it is a one trick pony but it has earned it's place in our utensil drawer.

This is a perfect tool for buttering corn! The only thing you have to do especially in the summer is to refrigerate or freeze it or the stick butter will not adhere to the tool for spreading.

My mother had a couple of these when I was growing up so decide to purchase one myself. Absolutely love this, my husband is a corn eater and loves his butter. 😆 Highly recommend for anyone that wants or needs there corn on the cob fully smashed in butter. Best used with parmesan cheese and paprika they stick very well after using this corn tool!

Ingenious!! Our butter says out of the fridge and it works wonderful (the house is kept cold so butter is hard). Matter of fact used it last night and couldn’t stop smiling marveled by its simplicity and ingenuity. Works exactly like you didn’t know it should. No more butter sliding off a knife, using a fork, hands anything to get your cob buttered

Ah the joy of just *saying* the word "butterer". Butterer, butterer, butterer, butterer, butterer! This thing butters *better*. Yeah, I said it! Don't be... bitter... Ok, I'm done. But really:these guys got it figured out. As usual, simpler is better. Built well, cleaning is a snap, no wasted butter - just works like a champ! Highly recommend.

This looked silly to me when I first saw it, but this little tool does a very good job buttering corn cobbies. I recommend giving it a try.

Nothing to criticize on this item. Great idea. Takes the mess and clumsiness of buttering corn on cob.
