Very cool

Love this case! It's replacing my ancient Antec Solo, which has had cooling issues from the start. This is my first Zalman case and, so far, I'm very impressed for the high quality at a relatively low price.The Z3 Plus is a bit unusual looking but that's part of its appeal. The top looks like it should be the front. That's disconcerting at first as well as a little confusing for the first few days during assembly. (I'm still trying to finish the build! Too busy with everyone else's stuff to work on mine)I love the way the control panel is placed on the top front of the tower. Everything is conveniently placed for easy access and it gives the front a clean, uncluttered look. The fan control is a very nice touch.Speaking of fans, this case comes with 4 whisper-quiet fans pre-installed: 3 exhaust fans (1 on the back, 2 on the top) and 1 intake situated in the center of the front panel so it pulls air directly into the CPU Cooler.I was surprised to find that the front panel is actually metal mesh. That's just one of the features that makes this such a quality case. Again, unexpected for the price.My only complaint is the lip of the chassis makes installation of the back motherboard screws a pain. This could just be me because I have nerve damage in my hands which makes it difficult to work in tight areas. My old case has access holes in the edge of the chassis so a longer screwdriver has a straight-on shot.Otherwise, though, I'm very pleased with this tower. It's a perfectly sized case with a distinctive style and great features for an agreeable price. In the hardware kit that's included there's a bag o' screws for mounting the drives, etc. There are "B" screws, "C" screws, and "E" screws. "B" are most plentiful. In fact, I have about 20 left over. "C" types are for mounting a fan on the nifty video card stabilizer rail/fan holder. In my kit, though, there are no "E" type screws. That's depressing because those are apparently the only ones long enough to physically attach the hard drive mounting rails to the drive body.While I was able to mount the drives without those screws, the drives feel a little wobbly. I worry that if/when ever I have to move my case around or open it up, the drives are not going to be stable and might possibly just fall out. That's even more depressing because of all the screws in my computer junk box, none are long enough to reach through the rails to the drive. booooo!

Les panneaux latéraux sont en métal sauf parois transparente plexi.2 USB2 et 2USB3 sur le haut de la façade. Bouton reset.Seulement deux emplacements prévus pour les disques et je trouve le système non adéquate, a améliorer.Je préfèrerai en avoir 4 et avec un vrai rack et des prises plugin sans fil.Les emplacements pour les lecteurs et graveurs sont bouchés par une partie en métal qu'il faut enlever de l'intérieur avant d'enlever les capots plastiques pour insérer lesdit lecteurs/graveurs. Il suffit de la tourner sur elle même, elle tient par deux tout petit bouts.Prévoyez des rallonges de connexions d'alimentation pour les lecteurs et graveurs.L'ensemble est cohérent mais je cherche en vain du vrai haut de gamme. Entièrement en métal avec sécurité a l'ouverture par cadenas. Des vrais boutons touch pour le power et reset. Un vrai rack disque, pas de plastique sauf du solide et épais.On en a pour son argent au final.absynteZero official
