Magellan USB Cable - Triton

This cable was a perfect match for the Triton 500. As soon as I hooked it to my computer, my Magellan downloaded it's drivers, and updates. Now too bad the Triton 500 didn't come with a free pre programmed map. Guess that's what you get, when you buy something (Triton) from a thrift store. LOL

This cable is exactly what I needed. I just started Geocaching and I'm still not very familiar with my Magellan GPS. This neat cable allows me to go to the Geocaching site and download coordinates directly into my GPS without me having to type it manually. Saves me a ton of time.

The seller was spot on, price, delivery was on time. 5 stars for them. However when I linked up with the Magellan company they kept sending me to 3rd party sites for medium price to high priced maps that were location specific such as a city or an amusement park's ride locations.And there was no way to interface with other products from the same manufacture in this case "Magellan" ..Other than the color screen and a few little improvements one being battery usage , the hand held units today are nearly the same as the first widely available units of 1995-1996.The size has shrunk quite a bit as well.
