Stetson 0462 Carson Cowboy Hat Raylan Givens Justified Hat

I have 20 Stetson hats, from Cowboy hats to Fedoras, and this one is the best. After purchasing the right aftermarket hat band it is a perfect replica of the hat Timothy Olyphant wears in "Justified."And I mean right down to the last detail.One of the hardest to find and more expensive among Stetson hats but if you can find one you will know why.Runs absolutely true to size. Spend a few more bucks and get the right head band and all you will need is a black hat for those certain nights when you just need a black hat.Very highest recommendation, but you will have to invest about $20 in an aftermarket hat band if you want it to look just like Raylan Givens' hat on Justified.

I agree with another reviewer that the hat is too wide on the sides and would require reshaping. It ran about a size too large compared to my other Stetsons. I love the look and quality of the heavier felt (not the one that is sold for around $100 elsewhere on Amazon). I returned and ordered the next smaller size. If the smaller size is also wider on the sides, then I know that I can reshape it for a perfect fit.

I've long wanted to have a "Raylan Givens" hat and much as I love my 2 Akubras they didn't satisfy that itch. After a bit of back and forth discussion with the really helpful vendor I went with a size 7.5 and it fits almost perfectly. A bit wide and a tad too tight back-to-front; in time it will adapt perfectly. I'm still getting used to the look but I think I love it. Curiously I have a strong impression that this hat gives less protection from the sun than my Akubra Riverina which has a brim of comparable width.Quality seems top-notch (see the headline, a question I got from a stranger at a music festival) but if I have to be really objective I must add that QC seems a tad better on the Akubras. A small word of warning: these do seem to stain easily. Mine probably caught a drop of wiper fluid yesterday and it took a few careful soap applications to get rid of the spot.I think the hats from the series had a trimmed and remodelled brim but it was never my goal to have exactly the same hat (I don't have the same head either). YMMV in that area.

This hat is exactly as described, color, size, and style - excellent! The seller shipped it in a secure Stetson hat box and that inside another shipping box, very good and no damage. I am very pleased with this hat, the "Carson - Raylan Givens version", it was in place of the Stetson "Grant" hat which I wanted, but unfortunately they discontinued this version and what was left was not in my size.Overall, this Stetson hat is the best I have had.

It’s a Stetson, enough said Haha. It fits as expected. This Cattleman Carson comes with a nice leather braided hat band 6X beaver fur hat both soft to the touch and firm a nice addition to anyone’s collection or if you just want a quality hay. Became my everyday hat

My husband loves his hat! I did purchase a stretcher for him with it to make sure it fit perfectly and with a little time it does <3 His head is apparently more oval than round

The hat was a bit wide on sides, front to back is good. supposed to be an oval. Since it is based on the TV representation, I would expect it to be shaped the same. Why should I have to have it re-shaped?

Great hat. Fits perfectly. Exactly as pictured on Amazon. Material is great and I'll probably get a lot years from this hat. I was worried that this might not be like the picture but it was and I'm very pleased. Recommended.
