Life Defining!
Where do I begin?First, prior to even opening the book, the cover engulfs you with an array of colors provoking, simultaneously, and array of thoughts an emotions. Second, the writing is impeccable. Using poetry and imagery to describe a relationship we have all seen in one form or another, with hopes of shedding light on patterns and behaviors that we all need to face and break. I found myself in her. I cried and hurt when she did. I dove into each chapter with expectancy of revelations, and as Elizabeth Gilbert has said, if you go on a search, preaparing yourself to face and forgive some very honest truths about yourself, then the truth will not be withheld. I found my truth and found my love. I found my search and found the end of this chapter and the beginning of my own. While reading this amazing honest and poetic book, I allowed the inspiration I encountered to pour and run over into my life, in my own book, my own poetry, and my own, newly reconciled and strengthened relationship. I'm not sure if I have ever connected so much or so deeply to one literary work; but there is a first time for everything. This work was right on time. It saved my sanity. And no... I was not paid for this review.

Just what society needed
He did it again! He speaks to your soul that's what I love about his art of writing. The Gray is a bit different in the style of writing compared to Gentlewoman. The author starts by telling a story of a young couple and how they progress in seasons. I love how he incorporated seasons with change. In his specifications he makes you, the reader confront the root of your own issues. He makes you revisit your past and heal your future. He speaks not only to women but just as much to men. He speaks to society. Our society lacks so much love. We live our lives so prideful of not needing love little do we know we are starving, we are parched for love. I been following this author for a long time and one major factor that I love even more with his books is his incorporation of our Heavenly Father which just speaks to my soul. I highly suggest this book to anyone; single, engaged, married, or divorced. This book applies to everyone because everyone needs love.

Written to make you heal
Written with intention. Written to make you think. Written to make you feel. Written to make you question. Written to wake you up to the lessons. Written to make you reflect. Written to show you your worth. Written to make you set higher standards. Written to make you want it all, but only when it's right. Written to make you step your game up. Written to make you heal."When literature literally heals you, please understand it is crafted to."This book is art - the cover and the words beyond it. This book is a necessary relationship and inner self reality check. Starting with the prelude, this book is a journey through the connections we establish with ourselves and with the world around us. I was compelled to take a deep look at my daily practices and routines and my unhealthy habits that I have made excuses not to change. More than anything, I was taken on a journey through the roller coaster of emotions that came with my relationship with my first love.I feel like The Gray helped me make sense of the chaos. It helped me stop asking questions that I was not going to get answers to. It shed light on how much of my behavior is escape maintained and how escapism is not a sustainable. The Gray helped me understand past relationships, heal my heart, and realize that I'll always feel stuck in the same place if I don't take action to move forward.Thank you for this gift Mr. Bereola.

SPEECHLESS
There are so many emotions that by the end of the book it renders you speechless. You can tell Mr. Bereola poured his heart onto those pages in efforts to explain relationships. He was successful. I'm not one to write reviews but when a book leaves you in tears by the end you can't help but to share the necessity of this book. It was written for today, this very moment. I needed this.

Best book I've ever read!
Hard pills to swallow are always the best medicine and WOW! this book did NOT disappoint. I've been a loyal follower of Enitan Bereola II for a good 9 years. I purchased this book after a very unexpected and very difficult break up; it was just what I needed. The Gray absolutely shook me to my core and really had me do some self-reflecting to see why I kept ending up in the same (heartbroken) place. Once I started reading, I could not put it down! And I've since read it a 2nd time. I strongly encourage everyone - male and female - to read this entire series; you will NOT regret it! Thank you for so eloquently sharing words/relationship advice I have so long needed to hear! Forever a fan!

A Classic in my Library
This was one of the most challenging yet fulfilling books I’ve ever read. From the first page I was emotionally overwhelmed but locked in! I had to keep reading it even tho emotionally it was difficult at times. You learn sooo much about yourself in these pages. The Gray area is tough and he brings up excellent points. I love the way it was written! The entire book I would send my friends passages about it. I was going through much of what he was mentioning. It was as if he knew my life and was talking directly to me. I finished it in less than a week and have started it over. I need to read it one more time. I have recommended it to ALL of my friends.

I recommend this for anyone that's tired of the same old ...
This book is not for the faint at heart, it's very challenging and "grey" at times. Initially I was incredibly frustrated with the story telling and how vague it could be, but after a few days and chapter reads, I began to get the author and how he was approaching the book; the purpose was to be vague and ambiguous, but he later explains each chapter in the "specifications" part.I recommend this for anyone that's tired of the same old format of reading and relationship books that want something fresh. The grey is likely up your alley.

The most incredible words you will read this year.
They say never judge a book by its cover! But on this occasion I urge you to judge and when you've finished judging buy - and while you're at it add a few copies for those you love. Not knowing anything about the book or its author I instinctively purchased it after seeing it posted on social media. The beautiful cover (suggestive of romance and happily ever afters) spoke to my inner hopeless romantic. What I got out of this book was so much more than the fantasy of the love we all desire. It was heartbreaking truths about the fragility of love and human emotion that is devastatingly real and uncomfortably relatable, depicted through sublime poetic verse. The author brings to life broken protagonists that you can't help but cry with through their pain, fears, heartache and loss whilst hopelessly rooting for love to conquer all!Truthfully my short attention span for reading would have left this book on my shelf for months after just reading the first chapter! But this book had me at page one and I could not bear to part with it till the very last page. If you have ever loved and loss, hurt or been hurt, cried, got over it and did it all over again this book will offer healing that you never knew you needed. Thank you to the wonderful author and I hope there is more of this great work to come because the world needs to know about it! This is the first time I have ever written a review and I can only hope i've done this book justice.
