Muse Natural Canned Wet Cat Food

I am disappointed with this purchase. The expiration date on the cans is March 2018. Whenever I buy any cat food the expiration date is normally 2 to 3 years in the future. The plastic on the box also looked weather worn. But I decided to use it. I didnt notice the expiration date until after one of my cats threw up all the food she'd eaten. I figured maybe it was just her. Then the next day after eating this food 2 of my cats threw up. They are both healthy 5 year olds. Needless to say I am not feeding this to them. And since I used some of the cans I know I'm stuck with this purchase. I've fed my cats Muse in the past with no vomiting issues. So I know its because of this old food near its expiration. I doubt I will be buying cat food from Amazon again. I am really disappointed.

My name is Dr. Love, and I have discriminating taste. Until recently, I alternated between two Purina Beyond flavors. When the salmon was unavailable, my desperate human ordered this new kind (Muse). No by-products, high quality. Well, it tastes SO GOOD! I'm like a wild beast, tearing into it. It's now added to our subscriptions. I love when our monthly box shows up! *Happy squeaks**Disclaimer: My human typed this review for me.

The media could not be loaded.  Please please check your kitties wet food! 3 different cans 2 had chuncks of plastic and one had string in it!!! Unacceptable!! I love my fur babies and no longer trust this brand!

This is the only Purina Muse or Muse Masterpieces "Natural" canned cat food that I do think is good. Typical of Purina but contrary to the company's name, Purina mamages to adulterate its cat food in one undesirable way or another: strange by-products, chicken in everything, despite naames like Pheasant, Tuna, Artic Char, and Quail, high degree of processing, etc. But, this flavor, Duck, does not have added chicken or by-products. It's just duck and vegetables. And the cats love it. It has nice gravy and small chunks of duck.

My 9 yr old cat is very picky and the only food he ever consistently likes is Fancy Feast gravy lovers. He will eat maybe one can of any other brand I have tried until now. We adoptetd 2 new kittens and wanted to find a cheaper quality alternative so I tried Muse. Kitten love it. I figured we'd still buy FF for the old guy, but shockingly he loves the new food too. He actually eats EVERY morsel. When I give gim FF he leaves several bites to dry up and get gross.Food looks exactly like the pictures. Smells like cat food, no surprise there.

In this case of cans at least half the cans are mostly liquid! My cat is refusing to eat a pool of slimy liquid! Half the amount of meat than in the other cans! I feel duped!

My cats really like Muse, which is saying something since they are really picky eaters. Muse and Beyond (both from Purina) have been my go too cat food since they have no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.After a big chain pet store quit carrying both Muse and Beyond (the employees there straight up lied and told me it was because they contained artificial flavors and/or colors, but they still carry all the cheaper Purina brands) I had to find another source. Amazon to the rescue, my little furry friends aren't starving.

DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. Every once in awhile I switch brands just to give my two cats something different to eat. At first they loved Muse, however, after a few days one of them stopped eating it suddenly. Now she has foul smelling flatulence and diarrhea. This is day #2. I switched back to Whiskas and she still has diarrhea within an hour after every meal. Her sister has occasional flatulence (so far). The label says one thing but no one (except Purina) truly knows what extra ingredients are in this food.
