Thanks again!
I enjoy Debra's tough heroines and the Rocky roads they follow. Skilfully plotted and compulsively readable, I'm now on to the next...

Love it!
Well, this is going to become my favorite UF series of the year. The second book was even better than the first. I actually love its more serious tone, compared to the Imp. though the book still holds its amount of humor. I adore the characters. I like that Dunbar writes compelling protagonists with questionable moral compass. I do, believe Han shot first! Eden is unapologetic: she is aggressive when needed, she is resourceful, she is sexual, her choices are quite gray and she is definitely not a saint. It makes her real, flesh and blood. (I hate reading books about trained assassins who never kill anyone, girls that sleep exclusively with one-and-only and only after long love declarations, seven books in the series and etc.) I love the supporting cast. Eden's family is awesome, I adore Bishop and his sidekicks: Bob and HB. All the inhabitants of new hell, who are "friendlies" are quite fun. I can't wait to read what's going to happen next. The only thing I wish for - I would love Eden to meat Sam one day. I think they might like each other. And Sam and the archangels need to see the mess they created in LA.

His is a good read
First, I enjoyed this. It’s a good read. However, I gotta note that some of the personal interactions aren’t entirely believable. On the one hand, the main character is very committed to the deals she makes, but she doesn’t communicate even when communication is part of the deal. I’m thinking specifically of the deal with the cop for information. Certainly, she’d honor part of that deal at least before going into a life or death situation I’d think. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I get the I’m a lone wolf thing, but it’s not believable in the context and it bothered me.I’m probably nitpicking. It’s a good read despite my qualms on this point.
