A good introduction to Connie Willis
This was my first experience of Connie Willis. I was hooked almost immediately and am now wading through the rest of her works. Her novels show tremendous insight into the subject matter, which cover an extremely wide range. I particularly like her historical science fiction (start with Doomsday Book or, if you want something a little lighter, To Say Nothing of the Dog).

Connie Willis SUPERSTAR
A friend recommended this collection to me, and I asked myself what he did: how have I not been aware of Connie Willis before now? It's no hyperbole to compare her to Kurt Vonnegut or Ray Bradbury. Her stories are smart, strange, beautiful, and sometimes as funny as they are edged with terror.

Nothing but the best
Cracking set of short stories from the talented Connie Willis. All award winning stories (Hugo and Nebula). Have I got a favourite? I cannot just pick one. I loved "A Letter from the Clearys", " At the Rialto", "Death on the Nile", "Fire Watch" and "The Winds of Marble Arch".Ray Smillie
