He had been using a weighted lap blanket with success, but the blanket would not stay put. We sought this vest as an alternative & have been pleased with the results.We have only used for about 2 weeks, but the velcro seems high quality. It holds well.There was a chemical smell when we opened the bag, but washing the garment resolved that.My son expressed that he wished the vest was longer, but he has a long torso & fit is a common issue for us. (We solved this issue by buying a knit compression tank from SmartKnitKids to go with the vest. He reaches for the tank even outside of school activities. )Overall, we are both satisfied with this product.

This “squeeze” vest is great for my sensory seeking child. He loves it and it is adjustable for a tighter squeeze.It is comfortable and comforting for my child. Very easy to use.
