Black Lives Don't Matter, This is America: The Hood WILL KILL YOU: 2 (Times Up - The Hebrew)

Our black culture grew and matured a lot when Childish Gambino unleashed his monster of a song last year. This book was inspired by that song and it makes up for it in wise storytelling and engages the reader in every way possible. It's not hard for me to say that it actively engages the black reader.

I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS WRITER SINCE HIS FIRST POETRY BOOK " CRACKS IN MY PALMS" WHICH WAS PRETTY GOOD, BUT ROUGH. I COULD TELL IT WAS HIS FIRST BOOK. THEN HE PUT OUT " A LIGHT SHINES THOUGH DARKNESS" EVEN DEEPER BUT THE BOOK WAS MORE POLISHED. AFTER THAT HE THREW ME FOR A LOOP BECAUSE HE TRIED HIS HAND AT EROTICA WITH " NO LIMITS" NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS STEAMIEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ.. I CAN'T EVEN READ A ZANE NOVEL ANYMORE.BUT THIS BOOK IS BY FAR HIS BEST WORK SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE IS BEING GIVEN. THE STORY LINES IS DRAMA FILLED, YET REALISTIC!HOWEVER THE GREATEST PART OF THIS BOOK IS IT SEEMS TO TELL A ALLEGORICAL STORY, WE WELL AS A LITTERAL STORY.THE CHARACTER ARE EAS TO RELATE TO, BUT THEY SEEM TO REPRESENT WHOLE GROUPS OF PEOPLE, IDEAS, MINDSETS.I BELIEVE THE AUTHOR HAS TOTALLY CHANGED HOW FICTION SHOULD BE WRITTEN.BUY NOW!!

Great book indeed. The author paints a great picture on Black Lives Don't Matter, This is America. His imagery and rare and unique ability to talk about the passionate issues plaguing his people is second to none! I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to be black conscious and enlightened indeed!

This was an interesting read. Very informative from the writer's perspective. Brought up issues we're facing today.
