Easy Install, Durable brackets, but the pewter will rub off on walls
A bit surprised at all the negative reviews. This did just the trick on the four windows in my room. I usually keep some nails on hand just in case, but only one tack bent slightly when installing. Just because they're tacks doesn't mean you can just push them in with a finger though, you do need something to tap them in with. Keep that in mind. And if you have light-painted walls the color will almost always rub off on the wall. I managed to hang two thermal blackout curtain panels to each window without any issues. So far so good. Nothing has been ripped out of the wall or any other damage. I cant speak for anyone else's experience, but mine don't have any give and don't seem to bend at all. They're perfect for the house I'm renting!

Not the best
I got these to put on the back sliding door. Probably my fault for assuming they would be sturdy enough to hold the bar that wide. It definitely did not do it. The bar really sagged in the middle. In case you're thinking of using them for the same idea, DON'T!!
