have to leave on longer than normal
I have been using henna for over 15 years and indigo for about 6-7 years. This is different to henna and indigo I've used before as I've always left henna on for about 2.5-5 hours and indigo for 15 minutes. This recommends to leave indigo on for 2 hours! I left the indigo on for about 40 minutes, as I was too worried to leave it on any longer. I think next time I would leave it on for an hour, as the colour wasn't as dark and intense as I would have liked, but was still a nice dark colour and the henna coloured my greys brilliantly.

Great way to dye your hair naturally
I have been using a similar product however, I wasn’t much satisfied with the results. This product is really the best natural hair dye ever. No artificial colours, or chemicals. Just natural products. I prefer to use them one after the other rather than use them together. I apply henna and keep it for at least 2 hours and then rinse it off and then use Indigo the following day. I leave the Indigo on for atleast 2 hours to get jet black colour. It has given me the best results. Since using these items my hair is shinier and looks natural as opposed to using chemical hair dye. You don't even get those marks on the forehead after using a chemical based hair dye. Worth the money.Hope you find this review helpful

Nice results when patient
Always liked henna. This one to achieve final results takes too long therefore time consuming; need to be patient but work eventually. The combination of the 2 products work well . Will see how well the results last.

Very finely ground, good quality
If you are new to these dyes:🔵 Henna is the powdered leaves of the mignonette tree. When powdered and soaked in liquid, it releases a dye called lawsone. lawsone stains skin, hair, and natural fibres a vibrant red-orange colour. It takes between 6-12 hours of soaking before it is ready to use, and then takes between 2-8 hours of developing to dye hair (the longer it is left to develop, the richer red the colour will be.)🔵 Indigo is derived from the leaves of the Indigofera tinctoria which is a flowering plant of the pea family. Indigo stains natural fibres a blue colour, however when layered over the red henna, it forms a dark shade of brown, or a brown-black colour, if the quality is good and it develops properly. indigo only needs to be soaked a few minutes before use, and left to develop for 2-3 hours. This product:🟡This pack includes 2 separate packets: one pack of henna, and one of indigo. The main pack has a ziplock seal to keep the product extra fresh.🟡Each pack is about 100g. This should be enough to cover mid-length hair once. If your hair is short, you may get a couple of uses out of it, but note that the quality/intensity of henna degrades over time, so you don't want to store it for too long.🟡There are clear instructions on how to prepare the henna and indigo on the back on the pack, be aware that they each have different development times and must be applied separately (different days) for the best results. Here's some tips:🟢Henna must be left on hair for several hours (the instructions here say 2-4, but I wouldn't leave it for less than 4 hours if you want a vibrant colour - ideally, I'd leave it in for 6-8 hours).🟢Also, for preparing the henna, I'd recommend mixing apple juice 1:1 with the warm water before mixing into the henna rather than using plain water - the enzymes in the apple juice help it to release the dye quicker, so it can be ready in 6 hours rather than 12, and can give a deeper colour.🟢Don't shampoo the henna or indigo out of your hair - it can affect the development of the colour and it also isn't effective at removing the fine gritty particles. I'd recommend rinsing with a gentle sulfate-free conditioner instead. Conclusion:🟣This product is very finely ground which optimizes dye release and makes evenly applying it easier. It seems very good quality and provides a rich colour. I'd recommend it

Slow Process but Chemical Free
This henna and indigo dye comes in two separate packets. You may use them separately with the henna first and the indigo after.Mixing the henna powder with water, leave it in the fridge overnight and apply the next day. It takes quite a few hours to cover my grey hair, rinse the hair with water and only shampoo after a couple of days.It is a lot slower than hair colouring products from the supermarket but it is a chemical-free that I don't have to worry about allergies or skin problem after so it is worth it.You need to be careful with the indigo which oxidises quite quickly. Use it as instructed on the package, apply as soon as it is ready or else it will go oxidised and became not effective. Also, store it in air tight container to keep it fresh.I have used henna for years to cover my grey hair, never had any problems and it can be quite effective if you got the hang of it.
