This kit was fine and you get a lot for the money. However, as others have stated there is no case, it just comes in a plastic ziplock bag. I pretty much expected that do it wasn't a big deal. I was disappointed in the needle gauge though. The measurements on the gauge line up with my regular ruler, however the rest of the gauge is pretty much junk. There are a lot of holes, but they only go up to size US 13. The numbers that label each size don’t line up to the actual holes, so it’s hard to tell which is which. There are random holes between the sizes that aren’t even marked. Also, I tested each size out and couldn’t get a few of my needles to fit all the way through (they would get stuck right after the taper) even though I tried two different brands of needles.The flexible tape measure I received is correct as long as you're not starting from the very end of the tape or using the lines on the bottom. Along the top near the numbers is where it's most accurate. The inch lines slant a little so the bottoms of the lines are off.The row counters are ok, one of them is a little hard to turn but the numbers are easy to read. The scissors are nice and very sharp. The purple thing in the middle of the product picture is actually the top to the scissors so you can easily store them. I like that the set came with so many stitch markers, a few cable needles and the stitch holders. The point protectors work well. It’s nice they they came in matching colors for each size. The smaller point protectors are kind of open on the bottom so while they will fit the smallest needles, they aren't very secure.Overall, you get a lot for the money, but if you're looking for an accurate gauge and ruler or a case for all the accessories then I'd try something else.

I was looking for a good value on stitch markers for a knitting project when I stumbled across this set. It was a great price for a set of useful tools so I grabbed it. I'm generally pleased with the purchase.I fell in love with the yarn shears. These things are actually my favorite thing in the whole purchase. The stitch markers were exactly what I was looking for. The plastic tapestry needles and cable stitch holders are so-so but I think that about almost all plastic versions just because I prefer metal ones unless I need something more flexy. The aluminum stitch holders and needles work well. The needle caps are hit or miss. One doesnt grip very well but the rest are fine. The stitch counters are alright, they arent the easiest to turn but are still functional and readable. The tape measure and needle gauge ruler are both decent quality and always something I need a spare of. I was a little disappointed that the "convenient carrying case" turned out to be a plastic ziplock bag that you are supposed to stuff everything back in but it's not a deal breaker for me.Overall this is a great value for a prety useful kit. If you are a casual crafter that isn't incredibly picky about your tools then this is a nice bundle to snag.

I had some issues with this set. One of my row counters was inverted on one side so can read it. The hook sizer is incorrect, it would have been great in a small case, to keep all the small pieces together. Otherwise it was OK for the price I paid. If you're just starting to knit then it's a good kit to start with. You get multiple size place markers and yarn holders and cable needles. You maybe be lucky and get a kit with no issues.

I crochet and knit and use markers and other tools on a regular basis so I purchased this set to replace an older set. It has a nice variety of tools for the price. It does come with everything listed and with a convenient case to store them. Each item does come in their own plastic bag which helps to keep them a bit organized. When compared to brand name sets which are similar but have less items I find this to be a much better value for the money. Very happy with purchase and would recommend to those who crochet or knit.

Locking stitch markers are hard to close. Needed more of the other kind.

Crocheting and knitting.

This kit comes with all of the things I will need to knit with for awhile. Everything works as it should.A few things to be noted:1. The plastic stitch markers that go on your needle are not flexible, even though they look like they might be based on the picture. This isn't an issue, but noteworthy.2. The yarn cutter is awesome. Honestly, I am very impressed at the convenience of the tool.Overall a great kit, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing some accessories.

My Lion Brand ruler recognizes that my knitting needles are 4.5mm. The ruler in this kit measures them at 5.0mm. This is unfortunate since this ruler seems to be in a lot of inexpensive starter kits. If you getting this kit because you want something to measure your needles and hooks, look elsewhere. Everything else in the kit works well.

Many of the items are functional, they do their job but feel flimsy/easily broken. Coming at knitting as an absolute beginner, the items seem okay - I'm going to stick it out with these items until my skills get better and I need better tools.Contrary to the item description, there is no 'convenient case' included with this set (unless you include plastic ziplock bags in that category). It is a bit of a hassle dumping everything out of the bag to find the item that you're looking for. Keep that in mind if you're expecting to use the items frequently.Lastly, the needle gauge is defective. I tried both a US 7 and 15 gauge needle and neither fit in their respective holes. For the 7, it was one size off, the gauge indicated it was a US 8 (see image).

The set is great for me, a beginning knitter. All pieces, except the scissors, are made of plastic and one of the stitch markers was broken, but there were other stitch markers. I am happy with the set considering the price.

I am highly dissapointed in the quality of things specially the row counters. The fact they can easily pop apart is not right. To have it show just in a plastic ziplock bag instead of a plastic case like normally would be in, is also disappointing. I do not recommend.

Lots of great stitch markers. Good little kit. Did not come with the “convenient case” listed in the description. Also, only 2 needle point protectors. More are needed for double point needles.
