Rust-Oleum Universal Paint Satin Portland Stone 750ml

Great paint. Thick and a little goes along way.i used it to paint my marble fireplace. Used 100 grit sandpaper first and then cleaned area and then painted. I did two coats one would of been enough but I wanted to put extra coat on because I'm putting lanterns either side. Still looks freshly painted. Will be using this paint on other things. Portland Stone beautiful colour.

My uPVC door had faded badly so I decided to give this a go. It was easy to apply and dried in approx 4 hours as advised on the tin. I applied 2 coats and would say that the door looks like new. The colour match (Anthracite) was perfect with the existing door frame. I cannot comment on durability as I have only just painted my door but so far I am a very happy customer

Doesnt quite give a completely smooth ripple free finish but its pretty good and it depends upon preparation and a quality paint brush or roller. The paint though is gloriously thick and easy to handle. Only slight downer the the length of time to fully harden- so you need to plan ahead for external applications.Brushes need to be cleaned by thinners so rollers seem to be sacrificial as they are difficult to fully clean.On the whole I am very pleased with it. Its pretty good value its cover is very good and I would purchase again.

This has covered the tiles in the kitchen, it looks really nice, only one drawback it has a very strong smell, hopefully it will fade with time

This is a perfect colour for my windows. It is very thick and gloomy. I found it easier to apply when it had been warmed by standing the tin in hot water for 10 minutes.

Great coverage, but the colour is brighter than the picture. I wasn't so sure about the colour but it actually looks great now. The smell is pretty strong so you definitely need a window wide open or plenty of ventilation if using indoors. I painted my laminated unit in the bathroom and used a mask which helped. I did sand it down before painting and would recommend this even though it says you don't need to. I painted the top white with the same brand but using a spray can without sanding and did notice chips so I wanted to make sure the paint stuck and it worked a treat. It's been almost 3 weeks now and its looking great.
