This is my go-to brace because of comfort, support and ease-of-use.The Neo-G brace offers moderate support. It is easier to put on than the sleeve-type braces, which are not as supportive. For the Neo-G, you pull the cuff portion of the brace around your ankle, then wrap around as is comfortable, so you can very the degree of support and also accommodate different-sized ankles. I am a woman of medium build, and although the cuff portion is a little loose, after wrapping around, it fits well. If you are a very petite woman or a large man, this brace may not fit you.The brace has been fairly durable over 7 months, but the blue fabric is starting to show some wear because of the Velcro. The Velcro tabs are still working well, though. The blue material is comfortable, similar in weight to a sweatshirt, which helps keep the injured area warm to promote healing. However, this is thicker than some other braces, so that I had to loosen my tennis shoes, and could not have worn dress shoes if I'd tried.Over 7 months, I have tried 6 different ankle braces and this is the one that I wear the most often. For comparison, the Neo-G brace does not offer as much support as some of the lace-up braces, but is much more comfortable than the ASO stabilizing orthosis and Swede-O easy-lok adjustable ankle brace (both of which caused more harm than good because they were too tight in the wrong areas for me). The Neo-G brace is more supportive than the Bracoo breathable neoprene ankle support, which did not provide enough support for my slow-to-heal ankle sprain.The OTC ankle support brace with wraparound strap was a disappointment; it was too large to offer an support, although I ordered a small. I also like the McDavid 432 ankle brace with strap, which is just a bit more supportive than the Neo-G brace, but because of shoulder injuries, I have some difficulty putting the McDavid brace on.

I have bought quite a few different ankle braces in search of one that does what I need. Comfort, ease of getting it on & off, Fits well with my shoes, & stabilizing my ankle. This 1 does it all. It does take a few tries to get it on properly, it’s a bit large because 1 size supposedly fits all.

I have a Neo-G Ankle Brace, Figure of 8 Strap that I purchased 5 years ago. I needed to replace it and found it on Amazon. I have an old painful arthritic ankle and it needs support to go for walks around town, shopping, etc. I find this product helps me a great deal as swelling and pain decrease during the walking. An additional benefit is that without the high pain, I am in a better mood. This is a great product, easy to wash and hang dry, and put on the ankle. I bought 2 of them so I have one always ready to go.

The brace itself is great and fitnmy daughter, who rolled her ankle playing soccer. She said it made her feel better when walking. The tough part was putting a shoe over it. We had to super open up the laces in her sneaker and then could barely tie the sneaker. Even more I'll fitting was her soccer cleat. We had to open the shoe/loosen the laces so much to get it on. Then when trying to tighten it back up, the soccer cleat was nice and snug around the top laces where it ties, but she said it felt too loose in the heel. She played a game and, though the brace supported her ankle well, she came off the field limping with 2 horrible blisters--one on the heel and the other on the side of the big toe joint--because the brace made the soccer cleat not fit well. We decided not to use it for soccer and I am just taping her ankle instead. It's a shame because she really liked it until we tried to put it in a shoe.

My 4-year old daughter has nerve damage from spina bifida and needed feet/ankle support when crawling around for exercise. I bought the Neo G pediatric versions of this and they worked so well, I purchased a knee and ankle set for mom and dad as well! I'm glad I did. All of these support designs give you low-profile, uniform support in all the right places without being too bulky under clothing or socks. I was able to stretch the strap to adjust the tightness I needed and wear it all day long without issue. I can see why they identify it as medical grade. after wearing for about 10 minutes in my shoe my entire foot was cramping up, took off the shoe and my arch was in ridiculous pain now my ankle is in more pain than it was in before DO NOT BUY THIS BRACE

I used this ankle brace instead of a much larger sleeping boat. I had an Achilles tendon injury, and the intention was to sleep with my foot in a 90 degree position. The boot would hold the foot in this position, however, it was so large and cumbersome that I couldn't sleep with it on. Instead this ankle support was much smaller and more comfortable, and provided just enough tension to generally hold the foot in the desired position. The injury healed, so I'd say it was a successful treatment. I found it quite comfortable to wear, and it could easily be adjusted to make it tighter.

Brace is supportive, but have to wear a lager shoe to fit brace in a shoe.

I purchased one of these last week to aid the recovery of my damaged ligaments in my ankle. It fully supports my ankle which feels extremely unstable when I put my weight on it. This has allowed me to undertake my normal day to day activities and even take a short walk with my dog. It is comfortable and relatively easy to use. I would however advise that people purchase a pair of shoes larger than normal as it is quite chunky. I have today ordered a second one.

Fits very well and offers a lot of support to my sprained ligaments. The only problem I have is as my yard is still mostly ice I have to wear my boots with ice grippers and it doesn't fit into my boots. Not a big problem as it's fine with athletic shoes and I can change as soon as it's safe to walk without the ice grippers. Every good product.
