Texture could be better
This moisturizer is very watery in texture. It's easy to squirt out too much. Also, it turns me a bluish white. I have to rub it in forever to get that look to go away. Overall it did it's job and kept me from getting burned. Wouldn't get it again.

Nice...
...scent.This greets you with a light citrus scent; the intensity of that scent to me is about a 2 on a scale of 10 (being the strongest intensity).I've seen this in two different thickness's.After a lap swim, this had been in my gym bag in an inside pocket on the pool deckI used this as my sunscreen/moisturizer after my post swim shower. It seemed pretty runny and came out of the tube pretty quickly.Hard to judge in that consistency, but I think I used about a pea size amount for my face and ears (not neck). It felt good going on and while very white due to the zinc oxide, the white disappeared pretty quickly without any drama; (still, I wouldn't want to get this on my clothes).Another day in the morning, in my house, the consistency was a bit thicker; not runny; so keep this away from heat if at all possible. The application, and the amount was very much the same as the day it was "runny".In both instances, it provided to me, who tends towards dry skin, a nice, "day" level of moisture without being sticky or making my face sweaty.Since I had just reviewed another mineral based sunscreen/moisturizer, I was aware of the retail price of this, and that other product, which behaved very much the same as this, right down to the citrus scent. This is a pretty small tube; 1 ounce. The other brand was 2.25 ounces for $4.00 more. Because I am pretty frugal, if I were paying, I'd be inclined to buy the other brand. Not a reflection on the quality of this, just me being frugal. If that's not a concern for you, this is a nice product which I can recommend. One other thing; the print on the box is so small, you're gonna need your phones magnifier app, reading glasses or a magnifying glass to read it.Sorry, but that's not acceptable to me.I'm giving 4 stars, but based on price and stupid small print, there is room for improvement here.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Pricey
Not a fan of the price. It comes in a very small bottle. Bottle itself is travel size. Felt lightweight after applying on skin. Scent is nice.

This did give me a little white cast
I prefer sunscreen moisturizers for my face so I was glad to try this. I have a favorite brand already that is spf 30 and feels really light and leaves no white cast. So I compare other products to that one. This one was a lot thicker and had that definite zinc feeling when applied. It also caked up and left a slight white cast as I was spreading it on my face. I don’t use any makeup so it was not because of any other products on my face. I was disappointed in the bit of white cast. I’m light/medium tanned skin. Maybe if you are lighter complexion it wouldn’t be as noticeable. The price is high, I don’t think I’d buy this product again

Smells Strong
I like that it is environment friendly and cruelty free. It has a very potent smell, and the smell of it lasted all day, which makes it hard to deal with. The consistency is more like a lotion than a cream. It is a little watery, but otherwise it spreads easily and the white cast disappears right away. It’s convenient for traveling, but I think it’s a little pricy for a little tube. The ingredients are great, it moisturizes my skin very well with no irritation, but it is a little too sticky for me. I will use it as a body lotion/sunscreen.

Good ingredients, but sticky and pricey
This Perfect Image Hyper Lite Defense sunscreen moisturizer was available to me through the Amazon Vine program. It contains 14% zinc oxide as the sunscreen ingredient, plus peptides, plant extracts and vitamins to smooth and protect skin. Directions state to apply to face by massaging into skin for 10 seconds. I would recommend using it on your neck as well, as necks can show sun damage even more so than faces. The lotion has a light lavender scent. It is somewhat runny and leaves skin a bit sticky. Perfect Image is based in the USA, but I do not know if this sunscreen is made here. The tube I received has an expiration date about 21 months out. I feel it is overpriced at about $30 for the small (1-oz) tube.

Sticky. No white cast. Lavender scent
This sunscreen is a thin consistency - it applies smoothly. But it becomes sticky. So much so that my hair kept sticking to my face, and I finally had to tie it back. It stayed sticky all day.It does not have a white cast, which is unusual for a mineral sunscreen. It has a pleasant, faint lavender scent.I did like the idea of this being moisturizing, with hyaluronic acid and matrixyl. It would have been 2-in-1 product, convenient to use in the winter. Unfortunately, this one won't work for me - at least, not on the face.Exp 11/23 (1 yr 9 mo from receipt)
