I’m almost sure up to 300lbs, no problem. It’s made pretty solid.

I wouldn't recommend it, I'm half that weight and the center of the seat is already weakened. It is a wide chair but no support in the middle.

Q: Can this chair be used comfortably as a dining room chair?

The seat height is 19.25". You could use this as a dining chair on a dining table with an average height of 28-30 inches.
