F I N A L L Y, a delicious decaf.
F I N A L L Y, a delicious decaf. 🥰 Yes, it's expensive. Who CARES?! It's delicious. It's the first decaf I've had at home that is just lovely. I don't feel deprived!! Most high-end decafs are "ok" or "better than most," this one just tastes like normal coffee. THANK YOU!!

I finally figured out how to get good tasting decaf
I love coffee, and it is soooo healthy (except I hear Starbucks is not healthy because they over roast their beans and remove the flavinoids as a result), but I cant do caffeine anymore, as it just messes me up, makes me to nervous, etc. but decaf has been nothing but a crap experience. So I tried this stuff, from Crapper Creek, and I used an Aero press and got a good grinder from Krups, and bingo! I am getting a great cup of coffee now!. I put the water in the microwave for a minute and a half, and while that is getting a boil I grind some Crapper Creek, pour it into the Aero Press, get the filter ready as that takes out the bad stuff in coffee and lets the flavinoids through, and a filter is required with an Aero Press anyway. Then I pour in the hot water into the Aeropress, stir it. Let it sit for a minute or two. Come back and press it into my cup. Fills it about half way--I no longer add hot water, just live with the half cup situation, kind of like getting an expresso I guess. And then I top it off with a bit of Chobani Carmel Macchiato Coffee Creamer. Home run every time. Just wish it was more than a half a cup.

Good
It’s a good coffee. It’s pretty expensive though for a decaf.

Always great coffee
Love the coffee but wish they had a very dark roast or an espresso blend. They have decaffeinated in espresso but not regular blends that I can find

I'm baffled
Due to a recent medical condition, I had to switch to decaf. I've only purchased a few decaf coffees from the grocery store, but found them to be noticeably different/lacking in terms of taste. So, my search for a good tasting decaf coffee became a bit of a mission of mine. This one seems to be the highest rated of the bunch, and with a price tag to go with it.So, I thought I would give it a try. Boy, am I disappointed. First, the bag makes no mention of what kind of coffee it is. Are they made from arabica beans? Where were they grown? In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that I was grinding coffee beans, I wouldn't even know that I was drinking coffee. It tastes like mildly flavored water, and that flavor isn't even the flavor of coffee. I thought, well perhaps I didn't grind enough, so I doubled the amount of coffee beans with my next cup, and again--what on earth am I drinking? This is the weakest, and worst cup of coffee I've ever had. The only clue the bag gives is that it is a Trapper Creek blend of dried fruit and graham. Huh? Well, I see coffee beans, so what does that mean?My reason for the low score, is that due to the expectation from other five-star reviewers, the high cost of the product, and the watered-down taste of something that doesn't even resemble the taste of coffee, I can't justify a score that is any higher. Rather than throw the bag away, I've decided to blend it with other decaf coffees I've purchased from more well-known coffee companies, with the hope of stretching out my purchase, which was almost an investment. As for the other reviews on this product, I am truly baffled. This is the first time I've experienced such a serious disconnect between what I've read, and what I've received.

A bit disappointed
Mild taste and somewhat disappointing. At $23.00, I was expecting much more. I probably won't buy again.

Tasty
Tastes like a really good coffee house brew. We recently switched to decaf, this is one of my two favorite brands.

Very smooth taste
I am a picky coffee drinker and had to witch to decaf many years ago. The big issue with decaf is that it tends to be bitter tasting and also lose a lot of flavor in the processing. I also like my coffee on the strong to strongest side of the scale and find this coffee fits the bill perfectly for me. I see reviews that describe the smell as burnt and I found that as well but I didn't taste a burnt flavor once brewed. I have used, percolator, brew station, and french press with this coffee and find the flavor to be smooth tasting and non-bitter every time which also makes it perfect for blending with other brand flavored coffee's that I enjoy. Thumbs up from me on this one.
