Just as I remembered it!
I had this on VHS as a child and now my toddler requests it daily. It’s just as special now as it was 30 years ago.

Love Sesame Street
I grew up with Sesame Street in the 80's, watching is how I learned how to count and my alphabet. Having preschool aged children of my own now, one of which had been struggling and after exhausting other options and going to preschool hasn't helped much at all, I decided, what the heck, I'll buy this dvd and we can watch it while in the car, they're sitting still and will pay more attention. Within a week my son was able to recite his alphabet! I also purchased the Count with Ernie and he's counting to 20, before he struggle to get to 10! Love Sesame Street!!

Excellent Educational Value
My son loves Sesame Street, and this DVD is one of his favorites. Thanks to watching this video, he was already saying most of the alphabet and recognizing printed letters around the house before he was 18 months old. It has excellent educational value!

Some wonderful favorites on here
This is a great DVD, and I sure remember learning my alphabet and letter sounds on Sesame Street! The reason I give it only 4 stars is some letters are rushed through, while others have skits to go with them. For example, "M" has both Kermit teaching children how to draw it with their "pointy finger" (love that!), and Cookie and Herry doing the "MMMM" song. But other letters just get mentioned with a couple of words they start with, and then it's on to the next letter. Of course, this is for the sake of time and attention span. I would rather see MORE skits... I think it's better to reinforce the sound and learning of the letter. But overall, a great DVD with some fun memories if you are an "old school" Sesame Street fan, like me!

The BEST alphabet video on the market!
I bought this tape for my little boy when he was 16 months old. This is by far the best alphabet movie I have seen to date. It's not all annoying loud songs like so many of the movies are now. My son is allowed to watch one movie per day, and this is usually his first choice. Believe it or not, by 17/18 months he was saying the entire alphabet. His pediatrician was shocked at his 18 month visit! There are lots of neat songs and video clips from Sesame Street episodes from the early 70's I remember myself on this tape!

Creating little Einsteins?
Great fun and learning tool for the little ones, whilst also being very entertaining. It's the only time I allowed the little ones to watch TV (at that age) so I purchased the full range of DVD's. Good quality but took a while to arrive. Was fun and exciting in my days too and is one of the rare things of my time that can be handed down to todays new generation and be just as greatly appreciated, received and valued. Also makes a great present for those with little ones.. who may have forgot.

Discover letters
This is the first video for learning the alphabet. Seasame fallows sing and talk stories about each letter from A-Z. Each letter is introduced different way which keeps your child interested all the time in what is happening on the screen. The essence of sesame street's ABC's adventure.
