WELL MADE AND GETS THE JOB DONE
This is a great propane gauge for the BBQ. No more raw steak! I'm buying a second one for the RV. It really helps in knowing approximately how much propane is left and won't leave me worrying if I'm going to run out while BBQ grilling. It seems to be made well, heavy solid brass and easy to screw on. As with all these types of gauges don’t leave it exposed to water otherwise condensation could happen but you can still easily read it. I twist the cap and put it on the gauge face so it’s not exposed to rain or sun. Also know that when your in the yellow- it’s about time for a refill. Everyone needs this!

EXCELLENT product
Easy install. Perfect reading. Tank is inside a unit so the meter doesn’t get impacted by the weather much. Really good quality product.

accuracy is somewhat questionable. I have it on a 20lb standard propane tank (the kind you exchange at a store). It was on the edge between green and yellow. Within one minute it was empty. Seems well constructed though, but that won't matter if it doesn't do the job it's supposed to do.

A gauge of wonder
I opened the mailbox door with some trepidation. Could it have come today? Was it possible? The door inched open and a brown envelope appeared! Not your normal sized envelope, a big one! Could it be?!? It had to be! I snatched the envelope out of the mailbox and hurried inside the house, ripping the envelope open as I went. It WAS! It was my brand new Premium Gauge Master Propane Tank Gas Meter! Ah it was beautiful - the brass was shining, there was a protective piece of plastic over the gauge, and it had a beautiful heft in the hand.I hurriedly removed the protective plastic and ran out to the deck to install this beautiful piece of equipment. Would it fit? I didn't know, but I carefully disconnected the gas line from the propane tank. With some anxiety I fitted the plastic end to the propane tank and started tightening the attachment thingy. It FIT! Yes! Attaching the gas line to the gauge was simplicity in itself. I opened the valve on the propane tank with excitement and there it was! My tank was still 3/4 full! The family ate well that night.

Sorry, but the gauge did not work properly for me
The seller sent a message: "Quick Tip: It is perfectly normal for the gauge to read in the middle of the green area on a full tank of propane. Also, cold temperatures can provide lower inaccurate readings, while the most accurate temperatures are during room temperature or warmer days."I don't know why this should be the case, but that's exactly what it did. And it was 70 degrees when I used it so I don't think that was an issue.I have already returned the gauge. It did read in the middle of the green, which didn't bother me, but I sent it back because the gas did not flow through the gauge properly. The burners ignited, but just barely had a flame after ignition. I allowed the bbq to heat up for over 10 minutes and it was barely warm. The valve on the tank was fully opened, and after I removed the gauge, there was a normal flow with the usual flames, from high to low according to the dial settings.Sorry, but the gauge did not work properly for meUPDATE: The seller contacted me and said that "it sounds like there could have been a stuck internal valve not opening all the way. This is rare and shouldn't happen." They apologized and were very nice about it. They are sending a replacement gauge which I will check out when I receive it. I will post a further update at that time.
