Got my product nice, sealed and well packaged by Appario.Pros -Stable rendering performance, no crashes during baking lights in unity, and rendering in Blender cycles (A problem I have faced with AMD CPU/GPUs)No stuttering in games, ultra fast loading screens, almost 1 sec in many games, includingMass Effect Andromeda, Destiny 2, Star Wars : Jedi Fallen order.Steel Series software: can customize the RGB per key backlights to make your laptop truly unique to your tastes.Sturdy Build Quality, its so good to touch, the lid feels so premium, its perfect.240hz screen, its buttery smooth, almost no ghosting with 3ms overdrive mode, and with the specs inside, games are so smooth, I cant see myself going back to 60fps ever again.Cons: Heating, GPU stays relatively cool in Laptop's standard at 84 degrees at loadCPU reaches 95, and even 100, if I play games in the day. That is including me using a cooling pad. So keep that in mind. I suspect repasting is required.Pro/Con Depending on your use-case.This laptop comes with 1x Samsung 16GB RAM (its Rx8 at least)Personally, I was going to buy a 2x16 32GB RAM anyways, so for me, its a good deal, as I will only need to buy one more 16GB RAM, but I can see someone who might be expecting 2x8GB RAMs be disappointed by it.Overall: I am really happy with the purchase.EDIT : It runs star citizen as well, 50fps average on max settings, which is 120fps in star citizen's optimization terms

Made a good choice (finally)
I've been toying around with the idea of an rtx based gaming laptop for a while. I already have a work laptop (hp x360 with stylus support) and an old nitro5 which was due for an upgrade.. i made a mistake the first time and went for gl65 10th gen rtx 2060 (to be honest, that would have been a good laptop as well but unfortunately seller sent a defective model and didn't have a replacement so had to return it).I almost ordered a legion 5 before this as well as been enquiring offline dell showrooms about Alienware m15 r6 (yeah, I'm confused AF i know 😁)Finally settled on this one and boy, am i glad I did 😊Now for a detailed review:PROs:1. Speed (be it SSD, GPU, cpu or any component, one thing's common - hell of a speed)2. The rich detailed 240Hz screen3. Rtx 3060 (enough said)Cons:1. No usb-c or thunderbolt port2. Charging brick is heavy so if you are planning to carry it everyday to two places, ensure you get a second charger with flat pin specification3. Reason for no. 2 being battery backup is very low (unless you disable backlit RGB keyboard and set display to 60Hz)4. Gaming laptops are supposed to heat up so i guess heating isn't an issue confined to this model alone even though I should also add this handles the heating way better than, say Acer Nitro or Helios by having an option to manually switch on full speed fans whenever we need

A really solid and well built laptop from MSI. Update: Screen flicker in 8 months.
The media could not be loaded. Update: Got the screen replaced under warranty within 7 days, but the new screen isn't as perfectly aligned as before.Update after 8 months: The display has gotten damaged. its flickering. i was simply watching youtube and this started happening. the laptop has been used very carefully, has not been moved around a lot. attaching a video.Initial impressions: These are my initial impressions of the product after using it for around 2 days.Taking it out of the box for the first time you will immediately notice the solid build quality and also the fingerprint magnet nature of the lid. Opening it for the first time, the hinges are perfect and stiff enough to be stable and not wobble while typing/moving around while also being smooth enough to be able to open with one hand. When switching it on for the first time, The keyboard just invites you to type on it, it's a very pleasant keyboard to type on with minimal flex to the chassis. Felt right at home while typing on it, only pressed the wrong keys while gaming(Coming from a full-sized mechanical gaming keyboard). The trackpad is pretty small by today's standards and is not as pleasant to use as the keyboard. The keyboard deck gets pretty cold to the touch when not being used but feels like plastic so I'm not sure about the type of material being used but it surely does not feel cheap at all.Coming to the performance of the laptop, its performance is as good as any 3060/i7 combo can get on a gaming laptop, the CPU heats up to about 95 degrees but the GPU stays pretty cool between 75 and 85 degrees all the time. The screen is pretty color accurate and gorgeous to look at, with smooth animations because of the fast 240Hz refresh rate. Coming to fan noise the Laptop does get pretty vocal when gaming or doing heavy tasks. The SSD is a gen4 one and is very fast with around 6000 plus read speeds and 4000 plus write. The only downside I would complain about in this laptop is the battery, which delivers subpar battery life due to its small size and also because of it being powered by intel and not an AMD processor. If battery life is not a concern for you surely go for this device.

Fan broke within 3 months
Within 3 months of purchase (with daily usage of only 3 hours for gaming at medium settings, keeping temperature at 72 to 75 degrees Celcius), the fan began to create loud noise and the whole laptop began to vibrate from its erratic rotation. The engineer at MSI service centre told me that it is a recurring issue with these laptops. Why can't the quality of parts be good and the laptop be reliable if I am paying so much money? Both fans had to be replaced and that too within just 3 months of purchase. I feel cheated, I expected higher quality and more reliable, tough laptop in this price range.Battery life without charger is 1 and a half hour.

Laptop is amazing, charger has issues
The laptop is very good only issues with charger, the connector to the charger is very weak and sensitive, even if something touches it the charger gets disconnected.
