BirdBag Oven Bags, Large 18” x 20” Turkey Size for Home Kitchen Food Preparation (10 Count)

Bags worked fine for my 11 lb turkey, but might be too small for larger birds. Past bags the opening has been the smaller dimension. These the opening is the larger dimension, so the bird slides in sideways rather than neck opening first. Cooking instructions would have been helpful, but I went online and found some. Turkey came out perfectly cooked and moist!

Have bought brining bags in the past and they have always been heavy weight plastic. These bags are very light weight plastic (not much more than plastic grocery store bags), not satisfied with this product, needed to double up the bags (used 2 bags for 1 turkey). Will need to buy better ones for next Thanksgiving.

Big enough for my 12lb turkey and sturdy construction. I placed the bag in a bowl just to make sure but after the brining was complete, I removed the bag from the bowl and there was no leakage.

I bought these to brine a small turkey in. I wish they were a little more sturdy, although I haven’t had them break yet. I also think a little bit bigger bag would be better for brining.

These are great for any meat brining
