What Do You Expect
Like with most things, going into a purchase you have to know what your expectations are and if they are reasonable. This pair of true wireless in ears are for those who want a relaxed smooth sound signature along with the convenience of having no wires attached. I got them for in bed listening and for that they are perfect. I love the analog-like sound; they sound very sophisticated and present music in a very natural way. You are paying for the sound quality here and the r&d to get this analog organic sound in a true wireless. I really don’t think there is another product like this on the market. They are not for those who want an exciting commercial sound or a lot of features.

Surprisingly poor quality control
Pros:Sound quality is excellent.Supports aptx and aptx adaptive.Cons:Complicated button commands. The user manual does not teach you how to enable the K2 feature, which is promoted on JVC website. You can tap the right side 4 times to enable it. It upscales the audio. But why would they "hide it" in the manual?! That's such a great feature. The design can trap debris and dirt in the gap of the surface, if you use your hands to clean it, the surface layer can easily scratched off by fingernails. For a 200 bucks high-end earbuds I don't expect a quality that is even lower than the Gumy line. JVC has to do something to improve.

Incredible audio quality
This pair is comparable only to high-end tws, likes of Bang and Olufsen and Bowers and wilkins. I have had the b&o and I found the JVC are superior as far sound quality and advanced Apx adaptive bluetooth codecs, the only downside is a lack of eq settings in an app. The link I am posting below is a much detailed and needed operation manual for this product, which JVC failed to include in the product package. I recommend it, and I am buying it again!Edit: Amazon.com won't allow posting a link even though it's a product manual

Why aren't these more popular?
I have tried 20 pairs (or so) of earbuds before trying these.I have had everything from garbage apps to poor touch controls to a terrible fit to just a terrible experience overall. I have had so many waits and returns and attempts to figure out what was wrong. I have done so much research on brands people may have never heard of in my attempts to find my next attempt. And somehow, I've never tried these.I really, really should have.Every control you could ever want, and then some, is here. Forward, backward, answering and muting, volume control, voice assistant, MASK MODE (you sound clearer with a mask on the phone!), ANC and passthrough, turning on or off their CUSTOM DRIVER MODE (these have patented tech, please please look into how utterly amazing their K2 technology is), it's literally all here.Touch controls are responsive and snappy, and play a sound so you know how many times you've tapped. The touch panel is WOOD, and looks/feels so nice. The people I've spoken with say I sound great on these, and that's been my biggest problem for so many. The fit is great, these are comfortable and don't fall out, and the seal is solid without feeling suffocating. And the sound....Their K2 technology makes such an impact. These just sound.....happy. They're not for bassheads, not by a longshot, but they're for just about anybody else. These sound smooth and warm, and they don't falter. The signal is crisp, these connected without an issue, and I'm just.....these are basically perfect. If you've tried the rest, I would absolutely recommend these in a heartbeat. Battery life is great, the design is classy, the earbud case isn't massive by any stretch of the means (though they're not as pocketable as airpods)...there's basically no downside.Stay away if you have truly small ears (I had my mum try these, she just kinda looked like shrek with how they stuck out), and stay away if you're looking for an app, but otherwise....yes. Just yes.Earbuds I've tried: Sony WF-1000XM4, Bose QC, Jabra Elite 7, Bang and Olufsen EQ, Shure (the adapter one that goes behind your ear), Master and Dynamics MW08, Beats Fit Pro, Kef Mu3, Philips Fidelio, LG Tone Free 9, Grell TWS, Samsung buds pro, Airpods Pro, JBL Tour Pro+, fiitii hifipods, libratone air+ 2, and from there I can't remember. I hope this list (and review) helps you.Edit 5/7: dropping from 5 to 4 stars, as the right earbud is cutting out sporadically. Fit issues can be solved with third party eartips (xelastec works well), and that's about all that needs to be said.

So disappointed
Had such high hopes.I’ve been looking for earbuds that do it all - and I expect that for a $300 price tag. Great sound, comfort, ease of use, and noise canceling for phone calls. I read all of JVCs propaganda and marketing spin about the great Qualcomm chips and super cool software that allowed for an unrivaled experience for music playback and a fantastic phone experience - great, bring it on!While these do have great sound and are fairly comfortable that’s not enough. Without an app that allows for configuration, they’re maddeningly non-intuitive. Turning the anc on or off is a guessing game, as sets of multiple taps do different things, but no easy confirmation of what you turned on or off besides some nebulous beeps and boops. Most annoying though was the AWFUL call quality. I was told I sounded far away and/or they actually amplified ambient noise instead of masking it, making conversations immensely frustrating.Nope, not keeping these.

No app
These had potential but with no app for EQ settings I returned them.

Nice earbuds without support
No app for this earbuds. Need app asap for this product to bring out the potential. But you can use wavelets to eq the soundNeed to turn the buds to 70-90/100 scale of audio volumes to hear clearlyGreat sound with details, much better than the akg n400nc, sony 1000xm4, b&o eq, mw08, T5II ancMuch better mics than xm4, anc is better than average not as good as xm4

Sound Quality was NOT that good.
I did NOT like the JVC Earbuds, the Sound Quality just was NOT that good. The Sound Quality was kind of shallow and hollow. The JVC Earbuds were just NOT that good sounding with all Music. The JVC Earbuds were not worth keeping. There are much Better True Wireless Earbuds out there.
