They literally soaked it in black ink and it falls apart and stains everything black. Buy with caution.

Super fun!
Bought this for a concert I was attending at a local casino. The only issue was feather shedding. Left some plumage in my cousins brand new Range Rover... got a few scowls over that. Got a few "silent judgement" looks from casino guests as I meandered the corridor leaving fluffs of feathers in my wake. And lets not even talk about the casino bathroom where it looked like a got in to a major kerfuffle with a bird in the stall. But other than all that- it is a super fun prop and I actually love it!

Great boa to finish off your look!
Was looking for a reasonably priced boa for a costume party I had too attend and found this one. Great price, very attractive and well made boa. Yes, you will lose feathers and it can be a bit itchy on the neck but it really finished off the look on my costume and I received many compliments. Great purchase!

Decent for the price
I got these for a costume and as mentioned on some other reviews they are a bit on the thin side and do tend to shed quite a bit. I had to buy two of them so i can get the fullness i was looking for, but the feathers were very soft and did not poke so i say its worth what you're paying for

Good for one time use
Fun and festive, great for a concert! However, they’re very messy. We were dropping feathers all over the place. And mine died half way through the concert. My friend’s was still going by the time we got home, but I just threw it in the trash. So spend the money if you don’t plan on using it more than once.

Good times
Love it- such a fun accessory for the value. No problems turning the lights on, but it did shed a lot. Great overall for the price and happy!

Not right for my dress
The media could not be loaded. I liked that the feathers were very white. Very soft. I needed it to be a little more full for my dress. It shed a lot but I guess that's how all boas are. I did return it. I would have used it if it wasn't for suvh a special occasion. Its for a prom dress. Halloween would have worked

Not great quality. Lost over half the feathers in an hour and it must be dyed black because my neck arms and hands were BLACK!!

Feather Boa less the feathers
Disappointing. The first time to use it for a rocky horror show. It looked like I had a pillow fight. Only put it on to go into the theater. Loads and loads of feathers all over me and the floor. The light switch did not work and would not turn off. Good job I kept hold of the tab to make it work. I had to push it back in to turn it off. I could not believe the amount of feathers that just kept falling out of it. I put it back in the plastic bag it came in before leaving the theater. Upsetting. Hardly anything left of it.!!!!!
