Great 2k stone, typical Naniwa.
I love how this stone feels. It leaves a crazy polish for 2000 grit. You're not far from a mirror if you work on it a minute, and you've progressed to at least 600 grit or so. I don't see it as fast, but definitely not a slow stone. Its very easy to lock your bevel down flat on this stone and work without wobble because of its hardness. It will release abrasive readily though. It also seems to stay pretty flat if you do some occasional lapping. It loads slightly, but not much at all. Most rinses right off. Now the negative, its pretty thirsty for a splash and go. You'll need to either give a quick, 1-2 min soak or do lots of spraying. Don't let this go dry or you will load the stone much worse. Also it's 15mm thick instead of 20 or 25 like most Naniwa stones. I think the price reflects the 5mm less stone though, I think it's a good price for how much polishing this stone will do. It's the newer version of what they used to call the Choseras. They claim that it's been slightly improved somehow.

Damaged package
Package had no padding. You see how the case for the stone arrived. Thankfully the stone is fine and looks to be typical Naniwa quality like my others. So product quality is a thumbs up; packing job by seller is a thumbs down.

A true Baby Chosera
A true Baby Chosera, just like its big brother but 15mm, about the same as the shapton pros. Great value. I love mine and can’t beat the price.

- Chipped stone and broken storage case -
Stone works well but due to where the stone is chipped, I can’t flip over to continue sharpening, I have to use a trueing stone more often than I’d like. I can’t determine if the damage was caused from shipping or was sent a defect. The plastic wrapping was torn open where the storage case was damaged.
