I've got annoying hair - greasy on top, very dry at the ends, and an itchy scalp. I changed to shampoo bars a couple of months ago and although the one from Lush made my hair look really nice, my scalp would still itch. I made the switch to the Clovelly shampoo bar some weeks ago and here's how I'm finding it:- my scalp is not itchy anymore (yay!)- my hair looks lovely and shiny- it is not as frizzy anymore- it smells nice and fresh- it's not dry anymore- I don't need to use conditioner anymore- it takes a bit longer to dry (both naturally and with a hairdryer)I have to admit that I wasn't too fond of it initially. My hair felt quite greasy and heavy after a wash (despite following the vinegar rinse suggestion), but after three or four washes I really noticed a difference. I think it just took a little bit of time for the nasty chemicals to be washed out. I read some of the earlier reviews and I was in two minds whether or not to give it a try. I'm glad I did as it's a really nice shampoo bar. It's also slightly cheaper than other shampoo bars and it's quite big, so should go a long way.P.s.: I was curious and used it on my body; it works well, my skin feels soft and fresh. That's great to know if you are going travelling.

Firstly, I have everything against me. I live in a very hard water area, we have low water pressure, I have long coloured hair which is thin and fly away but lots and lots of it so appeared thick and my hair is both greasy and dry! I thought I’d take the time we are all stuck at home to try and get my hair to adapt to natural shampoo. I’ve been using for just over two weeks now. At first my hair was so waxy i couldn’t brush it but that has slowly got better. I like the scents and I like that it’s better for the environment but I’m undecided as yet to how much I like it as my hair hasn’t fully adapted yet. If we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic I would have given up by now but for now I will continue. Plus sides, it’s good for environment, my hair does seem stronger and is growing again and they do smell lush, down sides: my hair is taking ages to adjust, it seems to take me a lot longer to wash my hair and you can do absolutely nothing with your hair when it’s waxy.

**Edited to say I have now used this shampoo soap and I LOVE it!! I usually use lots of conditioner in my hair because whem I don't it just goes really matted and horrible so I used the shampoo bar, followed by a very watered down ACV rinse (I watered it down because the smell was too strong) I then decided that I didnt like the smell of the ACV as it overpowered the shampoo bars beautiful smell so I used the shampoo bar a second time. I've actually been able to comb my hair! It hasn't got matted and smells gorgeous. I've got really long and thick hair so I was expecting to have to give it some time to get used to but first try and I'm super impressed. My hair has never felt so good! I've already recommended it to 2 other people and totally recommend you giving it a try! **I haven't yet used this (I'm looking forward to trying it out tonight) but I am so pleased with the products so far. I got a lot more excited than someone should about soaps/shampoos when it arrived. The packaging of the item is eco friendly and absolutely adorable, the smell is beautiful and the item even arrived a day early which is awesome!! The only complaint I have is that the product was delivered in one of those bubble wrap envelopes.. if this could be changed to a more eco friendly packaging to fit with the company and the items packaging (maybe wrap the item in the thin tissue type paper and stick in a regular envelope) it would be perfect! I shall update once I've used the product! I'm really hoping it works well.

Small bar for the money

This is the first shampoo bar I've ever bought or used and it's been a great introduction. The bar arrived quickly and was beautifully wrapped in pretty paper, almost as pretty as the village it's named after. The scent was lovely; fresh and invigorating with a softer, minty undertone and even before I'd used the shampoo, it was perfuming my entire bathroom.Several of the reviews mentioned the shampoo bar creating a stickiness and it's true that it does make the hair texture feel sort of sticky to the touch whilst wet but I found that as my hair dried this stickiness disappeared and left my hair feeling soft and clean. Using conventional shampoos frequently gives me an itchy scalp but I certainly haven't experienced that since beginning to use the Clovelly shampoo bar.I'm completely in love with my new shampoo bar which is worth every one of the 5 stars I've awarded and I will certainly be buying this again, along with other soaps I'm sure.

as i've been trying to cut down on my plastic use, i decided to give this shampoo bar a try seeing as i wasn't a fan of the ones from lush. i have to say i'm a little conflicted with this one as though it makes my scalp feel a lot healthier than before (less itchy, dry and cleaner) it does leave a weird waxy film that makes it pretty hard to manage. it's been about 2.5 months since buying this and i use it once to twice a week and the waxy feeling still hasn't gone away. it seems to get a little better with a acv rinse but not tons. it's a shame bc it's lasted me ages and the scent is pleasant

pas utilisé puisque reçu le 2 octobre et la date limite d'utilisation est octobre 2022 donc un achat pour rien, c'est pourquoi je mets une étoile puisque je n'ai pas pu le tester.

Un jabón excelente, limpia muy bien, no reseca la piel y ademas huele de maravilla. Comprare uno de cada, me encanta!
